  • My review of this resource management worker placement game. Will you gather a multitude of energy & pollution, or will you go with clean energy, but less of it?

King, have you considered adding the final thoughts link (timestamp) on your video descriptions? You know I love your channel and have been watching u for years. Just a suggestion to make it even better.

Hi Ozzy, Thanks for being a fan! I've tried different links in the descriptions in the past, but the click rates were so low, it didn't make sense to take the extra time to consistently put them on all the videos.

Great review, thank you very much.
But I am pretty sure, that the top row of the Global Impact cards does not mean that you pollute your environment, but rather that you get judged and earn points for the specific rows and the spaces which are not polluted.

I noticed you described the global impact cards incorrectly. You don't pollute in step 1, you get VP points for any uncovered in that row type. "A triggered Global Impact card causes all players to score a particular
Environment row. When scoring a row, each player gains 1 VP for each unpolluted space in the indicated row. A space is unpolluted if it holds no tokens of any kind."

So in order to activate a government building, for example, first I need to put a worker (and as much energy as needed to be the highest stack eventually) in a government section (i.e. education, or purchase of another government building)?
If I buy a card that has, say, sky pollution, I add that to the tracker immediately... but do I also add the pollution of this card when I activate it, later on and every time I activate it... or do i only add pollution the moment I buy that card?

The box say 1-2 hours and I'd say that's accurate. The last game was with 3 players and it took about 1 hour 20 min.

For every reason mentioned I think I will like this game a lot. I liked Manhattan Project but not the race aspect of it. This seems more my style. Thanks!
