WOW! What a change in the demeanor of those Fallow Deer! They were scared of everyone and everything at their previous owners location. Now they are calm , eating out of your hand and even following you to the hay feeder! WOW!!!

But why don't you prepare the rust and apply the paint before putting it together. spend so much time on something and not do it in the right order and really bothers me. I have put all the episodes and followed almost completely from the beginning. But I have started to flush the last episodes. I guess I lost a bit of interest when you don't use mask when you spray paint and had paint all over your face and especially around the nose and mouth. More and more just starting to think you're stupid.

Hey Heath, LOVE what you are doing with 0that Ford... A friend of mine has done a few truck swaps. He sometimes leaves a gap BETWEEN the cab and truck beds. One time as much as 14 inches (about 35 CM). He has used that gap many times for tools (JACKS, Shovels & other OFF road accessories ). Make the SPACE work for ya !

I spent most of my early life in Central PA which is the rust belt. Had a friend that put and 85 F250 body on a 74 highboy that had a 360 HO. I remember he ran a 3” body lift to help fit the chassis. This also allowed to fit 42” tires. That was a really cool rig. I think yours will be as well.

Rather then cut an weld the frame I’d remove the rivets for the rear spring hangers an shackle mounts an slide them forward to line the wheel to wheel-well an just re-drill the mount hole! That’s what we used to do with rangers to change wheel base then just cut the frame that sicks out the back! Also if you have some of the old firewall from the 90s cab it sometimes is easier to mold the two together then panel it all back in! Good luck hope you see this befor cutting the frame I’ll be waiting to see in the next videos much love an respect from Washington

You’re talking about cutting the frame? I would stretch the cab. The hardest part would be the little trim pieces. Make a line that basically splits your fuel filler opening in half and then cut up to just below the fuel filler opening and cut around, front or back whichever you’re most comfortable with. I would go forward, keeping the fuel filler in the back corner of the cab. Then continue the cut on that line up and over and down the other side go inside and cut the floorboard and then move it back. You can attach a few rigid wires or metal rods to help hold it in place as you cut bend and position metal pieces to fit in and match the curves of the truck. Once he had everything welded in, grind it, all smooth. Use a little body filler to deal with any minor issues and you’re ready for paint, but that’s just me and my experience with restoring cars. If you want a little more cab room, take a small section out of your bed and shorten it as much as you may want to. You said you had about 3 inches of space so if you take about 3 inches off the bed, you’d have 6 inches more for your cab which would make an amazing difference in regards to comfort.
