Mine almost looks like a dragon lol. Starting at 8:26 I’m having difficulties seeing what’s happening. The paper is white and the lighting makes it difficult to see the folds. So I know if I had the folds that are missing it’d probably look more like a dragon. Mine currently doesn’t seem to have proper feet and the head does not look right. Can you remake this video with different color paper?

To anyone struggling with 8:20, they're essentially folding the top of that corner in so that the whole shape can kind of fold in half inside itself. A better angle for this is at 9:47. They do the same thing at 10:02 for the other side so you can watch this part for another reference. They also tend to turn the paper a lot so make sure to pay close attention to how your paper is oriented when you're folding. This definitely isn't easy but I thought it was a pretty good challenge. But the video quality is trash and there are some other videos of this dragon out there where it's much easier to see the folds.
So I was finally able to make one. It took many, many rewinds and several suicidal/homicidal thoughts. But I finished it. (Using white paper in the video definitely didn't help.)
Yes!!! I made it! It’s a little wonky and it got difficult to see really clearly what you were doing after about 8 minutes since the folds become very precise and the white paper does provide much contrast to distinguish them, but I MADE IT!!! Thanks for the video.
I have no arms, but I want a dragon, so I got my grandmother to help me never been so happy. She died out laughing, though when I asked her to make me an origami dragon, best time of my life.

Okay I've got it. you take the left part, the side facing you (not the one on the back) and you fold the top edge down to the bottom edge, then you flip it over, and do the same thing with the other side.

I get what a lot of people are saying about how this "isn't easy" but compared to most other origami figures, it's actually quite easy, just requires a little precision and lots of patience!
For people giving up hope: I didn’t get it until about my third try when I got a little more practiced. It felt really worth it when I finally made her, though. I know the folds look really complicated/hard to see after the 8 minute mark, but really just folding both sides in on themselves in half.
I had a difficult time with some of the folding, decided to give up and forgot about this for a few days. I came back today and was able to figure it out! Sometimes sleeping on it or stepping away and coming back really helps
this took me 45 more minutes in total and it is doable but so hard to understand since the piece is flipped around a lot and the brightness of the light hides creases and folds, you need to be really invested and determined to complete it :,) good luck to everyone who tries

If youre used to making paper cranes, then it should be easy up until the 8 minute mark. Then you gotta try and pay attention to where the person folds the creases and how they move the paper. You got this!!!

I started this origami and I am having a headache now. I was interested in it because it said it was easy. I guess I could try it again but it is a very hard origami. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful piece and I am thankful for them sharing their origami. I am just saying it is very hard towards the end, and its a possibility that it will not come out exactly how you intended to look like. Also some pointers would be: get a piece of paper that is a actual square, I tried to cut a piece of paper into a square and it did not turn out how I hoped it would be. Also if you mess up a lot as in fold it in the wrong places, it will be harder to fold it into the right shape so although it will most likely be frustrating the origami will look nicer and less tacky.

I wasn't aware, that a single sheet of empty paper could a make grown woman cry. I almost did. Everything went well until 08:15 and I thought "Well, isn't it nice that for once something is labeled as "easy" and it really is....". Then came 08:21 and I had to watch it at least 30 times and still couldn't figure out how to make that one single fold. That has to be repeated three more times. 😓 Now my dragon's ready, a bit crooked and limp, but standing on my desk, I'm sweaty and super proud of me. I didn't give up. I didn't burn it. I didn't even smack my desk, not even once. I just ordered origami paper, and hope that after the 10th dragon things (folds) will become easier. Thank you so much for the tutorial. 🙇♀️🙏

guys if you want to do this but you are stuck try looking at this video How to make origami paper dragon kaise banate hai very easy instructions the thumbnail is grey dragon ! hope it helps you
Once you open the model, you should have a small square and a larger square around it. Fold the large square under the smaller square, then flatten it into the diamond shape. You can open up the top a bit to push in the sides of the square.
to those struggling with 8:20 first fold the whole tail lookin thingy down and keep doing it up to that triangle point- after that it seems to become much easier
The light was to Bright and I couldn't see what space he folded and how he folded it,and I don't know but I think he did everything to fast,but at the end the dragon was good Edit:his dragon was good not mine ->-
Great patience challenge!! Litterally spent more than an hour completeing this. It might be an "easy" one to do, but next time please make sure you use colored paper and decent light! Anyway thanks for this it's a reaally cute model :)
this isn't that hard, except if you can't even make a crane then you may find this one difficult. The main problem is how the video is made (If you take your time, you will make it with pacience even if this is your first time folding paper). The fact that it isn't well showed and well explained, the camera quality, and the other fact that the paper is all white (a color paper with a white face would be better) are the obstacles. Whatever, I managed to do the dragon (I have done some origami including other 5 dragons before this one) but in some parts the dude was so quick that I couldn't see what he was doing. (Also I found some easier ways to do the folds that the ones on the video) If you couldn't do the dragon, don't worry, this video wasn't the best for beginners, just search for another model and maybe after some practice you'll be able to do this one. The result is pretty nice. PS: I'm using this dragon and another ones for my art collegue project (a miniature scenary and photo shoots)

Amazing origami work bro but the thing is the video is not clear @720p as you have taken white square paper is shinning a lot in thedeo and we can see which part you exactly folded, so from next time try using color paper so that the fold will be easily available.

I know you guys can do it so take a break drink a glass of water and relax and then get back to it !
Though some moves are really fast I realize RUclips allow you to change playback speed. I made it x 0.25. its easier to follow.

Once you open the model, you should have a small square and a larger square around it. Fold the large square under the smaller square, then flatten it into the diamond shape. You can open up the top a bit to push in the sides of the square.
That part was a bit hard but at 8:20 it was that x 20 I am not joking

to those struggling with 8:20 first fold the whole tail lookin thingy down and keep doing it up to that triangle point- after that it seems to become much easier

The light was to Bright and I couldn't see what space he folded and how he folded it,and I don't know but I think he did everything to fast,but at the end the dragon was good

Yeah man you need better light or two colored paper and please speak, a 13 min task turned into a 30 min one because of one fold I couldn't get right
Great patience challenge!! Litterally spent more than an hour completeing this. It might be an "easy" one to do, but next time please make sure you use colored paper and decent light!

this isn't that hard, except if you can't even make a crane then you may find this one difficult. The main problem is how the video is made (If you take your time, you will make it with pacience even if this is your first time folding paper). The fact that it isn't well showed and well explained, the camera quality, and the other fact that the paper is all white (a color paper with a white face would be better) are the obstacles.
Whatever, I managed to do the dragon (I have done some origami including other 5 dragons before this one) but in some parts the dude was so quick that I couldn't see what he was doing. (Also I found some easier ways to do the folds that the ones on the video)
If you couldn't do the dragon, don't worry, this video wasn't the best for beginners, just search for another model and maybe after some practice you'll be able to do this one. The result is pretty nice.
PS: I'm using this dragon and another ones for my art collegue project (a miniature scenary and photo shoots)

Thanks for the upload, but please do it on a coloured paper the next time because its hard to see the complex folds in the later part of the video on white :((

Yes! It took a lot of patience. the white paper didn't help much. but the end was worth it.
Yeah the white paper made it a little difficult but i actually made a decent origami dragon!

Amazing origami work bro but the thing is the video is not clear @720p as you have taken white square paper is shinning a lot in thedeo and we can see which part you exactly folded, so from next time try using color paper so that the fold will be easily available.

Awesome! I've watched this very carefully a few times and made 2 so far. Now I'm going to make 3 more on cheap paper and get better technique. Then I'm going to make 20 on pretty origami paper and give away for Happy Wood Dragon Year 👍🏻😊 thank you for the great video instruction.
