I'll be honest, the DS New Super Mario Bros is so nostalgic to me, and it was the first Mario game I ever played! Thank you so much for remixing it, it is quite a beautiful track!
One of my favorite things about Qumu remixes is all the little musical "easter eggs"! I don't always catch them all on a first listen, and sometimes the comments have to help me figure them out, but they're charming and add SO much joy to every song 😀

NSMB is always nostalgic for me since it's my first ever Mario game, this remix feels so familiar and fresh at the same time. Amazing work! Oh and the little quote of Yoshi's Island melody is such a fantastic touch :D
I needed that. The New Super Mario games really give you an experience that is generic... but in a good way that makes them the perfect game for anyone to play.
This was one of the first games I ever played on the first console I ever owned (DSi - black). Man, this brings back some memories. This is what nostalgia feels like, huh? Great remix! I love it.
Your style of music fits very well with this theme! I believe NSMB was the first game I 100 percented (4 years old, 2009), so while it’s not one of my favorite games, it holds a special place for me. I hope I never see a time where I no longer see that iconic cap.
Really love the Yoshi's Island Athletic Theme mixed in. And the NSMBDS high pitched beeps at the beginning. I think a lot of people overlook the NSMB soundtracks because of how much a lot of the songs were reused across games, but they truly are really fun songs.
The one everyone was waiting for. Far better than I expected. And of course a mini part from another song couldn't be missing. You really never dissapoint, Qumu! And you know why? I would love hearing qumu's take on the versus mode themes of this game. Even the versus menu theme is a bop. Everything about the versus mode is just great.

This reminds me of a project I was just working on. A few weeks ago I made an animation of the beginning of 1-1 in NSMBW, and the large hills in the background were actually pretty difficult to make (not because of the geometry but because I made the lines that wrap around the hill appear procedurally, which wasn't as easy as you would except using blenders shading nodes) I really like the art you have for this remix I think it really compliments the music!
