  • The universal goat truth is that they will find ways to waste hay...it's hard to combat their wasting abilities!
In Part 2 of our DIY No-Waste Hay feeder for goat build we continue where we left off from Part 1. We hit a few snags along the way...comment below when you spot them 😜. In the end, what will the goats do? Will our hay bill decrease? Stay tuned for a future Part 3 where we go over some FAQs and provide a review.

What a great project and I think that it will save you on feed. I would have likely cut off that lip on the roof as well. It turned out great and even though I saw one of the goats trying to get up onto the platform, they really can't with the roof on. Well done 👍👏

Thank you so much! Yes, they think everything is a jungle gym but that's as far as she got. The lower ceiling definitely discourages them from jumping inside. So far, we are loving it and kicking ourselves for waiting so long to tackle it!

They've been so happy! And we LOVE that there was nothing on the floor this morning! As always, it would have been nice to have tackled this sooner!

🥹 for sure. You will soon find that homestead life means never ending projects you make up as you go along. So much fun! 😊

09:14 I have no clue what I’d do but this sure as heck looks like a darn fine solution overlapping!

It's one of those things where we don't know enough to know if it was an issue. 🫣 But we think our "solution" should work

I hate yall are having to remove prices but at least they can be salvaged and reused in other areas!it’s like us and this fence. Now we want to pull up some poles and extend the back out some more 😂

That's the beauty of the homestead...always changing & evolving. And you get to design it how you want. I know the fence project is never ending. Even when you think you are done.
