It will, check out the video of the talk with the developer/engineer. They talk about what makes it different form bmw, and how it still retains the supra (Toyota) driving experience. Also talk on how they have aftermarket companies working on parts for the car to be modified with. And it will be way easier to tune. The vette is nice too but doubt anyone will get it for 60k, at least not the version they keep hyping people up with that one would be around 75k due to upgrades and dealer markups. Also vette and supra are just different class of cars, vette is power built while the supra is a drivers built. Either way they're both good cars tbh just have to pick the one that you enjoy.

Shannon Stjulien keep in mind you are comparing base msrp C8 to top of the line Supra. Supra starts at $49k. Also, ad some desirable options to the C8 and it’s a solid $20k more then a similarly spec’d Supra. Still an amazing bargain, but at least compare similar cars
Wait 2 months these are the launch editions and since there's like 1500 being sold before the production models come in so their going to be pricey anyway. It'll drop to atleast 49k once their officially out.
It is an okay design. I wish they integrated the old style of the brake lights with the circles inside somehow. I am sure there will nicer aftermarket JDM lights. The MPG is pretty good.

Great review. Looks like perfect daily. Small and light in city and stiff and feel big in highway and best it is in curvy road with heavy steering. Trunk is big and you can get there from cabin. BMW makes great interior and it is cozy. Also technology is par none.

Chevys and corvettes are dime in a dozen gm shitboxes. All these years and they still get the fender gaps wrong, blown trans and blown engines on brand new cars, the typical corvette rattles and the typical gm shotty quality control and build quality. That's why they always place near last in reliability rankings.

Love all supras. Love the exterior of the car, but in my opinion, the info centre and the controls, sounds of the info centre, and shift knob resembles almost too much BMW. Just me though. Great review.

It does have that much.. depending on type of dyno numbers change a little but been around 380-390. Manual trans is coming or at least from what ive read/heard.

MNA GP Toyota have said that the reason they never developed their own engine was due to the development costs which would have forced the pricing of the car to be over 100k which would have made it very difficult for them to sell a large enough quantity in order to recoup the initial investment therefore they decided to go with the tried and tested bmw b58 motor which was more than sufficient for the car.

Looks really cool. I owned a1987 Supra Turbo and it when like a greased pig. Loved that car but I never keep them over 60k. Dealer had it sold the day I traded it in. If this is as fast as my 87 then I’m in. Topped my 87 out at 155 and it was still going. Hope this one will do that' at least one time.
Yeah I'm going to have this along side the GTR. However, if/when the new Z comes out. I'll plan on trading the GTR for that to have the new Z and Supra together

I own a 2011 3 series and here are my pro’s and con’s Pro’s: very nice and smooth ride Quick and light. Quality interior materials Con’s: gas consumption. No resale value. Expensive fixes after 70k miles.

Love the new Supra but new C8 is more 🔥💯🏎 for almost the same money & food for thought is that a used Nissan GT-R are in the $40-50K even Vipers now a days just saying. So many options 😋😎 👍✌

It does come with a manual 7? 8? Speed transmission in the regular models, but not the launch additions for obvious reasons

Pro’s: very nice and smooth ride
Quick and light. Quality interior materials
Con’s: gas consumption. No resale value. Expensive fixes after 70k miles.
Watching this video again for the 2nd-3rd time because I can't believe I now own this car, I realize the Vette is more bang for buck but I'm coming from a MKIV so I'll use this as my Daily Driver. Question though, is the Red Stripe on the Key only on Launch Edition? or do all of them have that red stripe?
I just reviewed a white base and it has the stripe on the key too! I didn't know that until I held it.
