Yes girl!! Follow your gut with sharing your child online. So many people have their children as central parts of their channels and I truly do not understand as those kids do not have true agency in the matter. When your little guy is a teenager, he will be so grateful that you didn't share him with the world. Keep it up momma!

My kids are 7 and 10, and I still have to deal with them waking up at night with bad dreams, or crawling into my bed. I expect to have regular nights of uninterrupted sleep once they move out. 😂
I think people focus on the negative because motherhood is HARD shit. People always say "oh you'll miss all of it when they are older" and basically shame you for not being super positive through it all. IT'S OK to say it's tough and to vent about the hard days, it doesn't make us bad moms. We know we still love our kids more than anything, and it's definitely one of the toughest but most rewarding journeys you will experience. ❤

I hate that someone found a way to strip the joy out of your pregnancy. Please continue to document even if it is just for yourself. Your future self will really thank you for it. It may not seem as important to do now because you are in the moment. But as your child grows up those memories that you are capturing now will bring you to tears. I would start back talking the weekly photos of your stomack because even though you are close, you will get to see the baby drop and how your stomach looks before you give birth. Then you can take a final one holding the baby. I love seeing thosee!!! They are so cute and I wish I would have done that when I was pregnant.

    Excited for you mama ❤
I’m 4 days from my due date with my 4th child 🎉 the anticipation is certainly exciting 😂
Some great tips coming from a home birther with no meds:
-remember your body is literally designed to give birth. It knows what to do, we only cause problems when we get in the way. Get into your mental zone and RIDE THE WAVE of each contraction… it will be intense pressure BUT if you can not allow yourself to tense up, you will not experience pain but just a very powerful pressure. This is so key!! My 2nd and 3rd labors were genuinely painless except for the final push (ring of fire) which lasted only a few min then baby was out. With my first I didn’t understand how to mentally manage pain during contractions so I tensed up so much and it just made the labor go on much longer and I had to feel the pain when it wasn’t necessary. Your body is sooo powerful and beautiful and is doing its thing to get baby safely out ❤
-highly recommend taking grassfed beef liver supplement. I have the wholesome brand found on Amazon. It’s so full of the nutrients needed for pregnancy and especially promotes Healthy iron levels and is high in B vitamins which has helped me with my overall energy SO much! Also reduces achy joints. aside from staying really hydrated, definitely check that out!

Hey, so I was one of the people who asked your due date, just wanted you to know that it wasnt with the intention of bombarding you on Instagram or wherever being like "OMG R U IN LABOURRR??" 😅 I'm literally just so looking forward to him getting here for you and wanted to have a rough idea when to expect the good news. I'm a mama so I know all too well it can be a week or two either side of that date and would never want to bombard extra pressure on you.
Birth is scary for sure but you will be amazed how much your body and brain go into "baby birth land" and you just... Get it done.
You got this Cathrin, you are so strong!

Girl I feel like you will labor really well. Your midset and the way your pregnancy is going very similar to how my two were. The midwives all said I was very zen. I had fairly quick births, no pain, no meds and never made a sound. I was just chill like this will be over and what be will be it can only last so long. The first words out of my mouth to my husband once all the staff walked out was "That was it!". Pregnancy I really never had preggo symptoms like cravings and felt pretty normal and chill as well.
Enjoy the process girl. You will do great and be a wonderful mom Cathrin!

The "house plant" phase of infancy was also the phase I was most worried about 😅 You got this mama. Trust your gut and your instincts - Only you know what's best for your little man. I had pretty severe PPD/A with my first child and I am a do-it-myself mindset like you, and as hard as it was to ask for help, it really helped mentally to not have to do it all myself. Sounds silly but I promise asking for any kind of help doesn't make you a 'bad mom'. No mama can do it all ❤️ Good luck and congratulations!!! 🎉🩵
