I will say, as a boy mom, I was kind of cackling inwardly when you mentioned that the book wall is going to be functional for his entertainment, because yeahhh, he's gonna use that as a ladder. 😂 Mine was scaling bar stools to steal apples off the kitchen counter before he was a year old. It was super smart of you to hang each shelf separately!

So that dresser. When i was pregnant, that was the one piece i bought brand new and i LOVED IT. It’s perfect depth for changing a baby on top, you can fit clothes organizers perfectly. It’s just bomb
AHHH LOVE IT!! That green color is stunning - you're making me want to paint a dark colored room haha! Also the clouds are such a unique cool addition, never seen that before! p.s. for my little man (who's a year and a half now) we had a crib with a bed for the first 9-10 months or so, and (1) it's amazing because sometimes you just want to sleep in there with them to know they're safe, BUT (2) it made it hard to feed him in there because I'd be so uncomfortable, so I ended up getting one of those bed pillows thats a back rest - game changer! (And now we moved the bed out and a chair in, which is honestly even better, but the bed was needed at the time so the back pillow made it work!)
Omg that reveal was everything! The nursery came out so good and I almost love how understated the velvet curtains are even though I loved the dusty curtains, too.
Sadly it's kinda insane how much stuff from Amazon ends up in a land fill after being returned. Kudos to you for making a more sustainable choice after you found out! Edit: Also, I forgot to say, the nursery looks amazing and your hair color looks SO GOOD against the dark green walls! I think I said "wow" out loud, haha

The best part is as the baby grows you can keep redoing the room to fit his needs and personality 😍 I love the clouds! Also, there was this cute floor mat that i got for my baby that might fit your aesthetic. It’s cool because it has an attached mobile and came with different toys. It was great for tummy time and just chilling out

Good Lord , this is the best nursery I've seen. The dark color is great for the room. A lot of people (most ) paint the baby's room bright colors and that's not sleep appropriate for a baby. Chefs kiss to this beautiful room. I low key want to live in that room lol . Jk . The clouds are awesome, just please make sure those clouds will not fall in the crib. I love this makeover!! The only concern I thought of was the hanging clouds over the crib! I’m not sure if it is or not but it seems like it could be a potential hazard if for any reason they fall into the crib and cover babys face or are consumed! Maybe it may be safer in the corner above the mirror?? Don’t mean this comment in a negative way just didn’t know if it could be helpful 💕💕
OK trying to pick out paint is so hard sometimes as I did it last year. But instead of buying all those samples and brushes etc. I contacted Samplize..They will send you a large paint sample of your choice on like a 1'x1' peel-and-stick so you can compare..
i'm not sure about target but homegoods ALWAYS resells returns unless it is completely broken. they will even resell if missing parts, just at a discount!
