It was a pleasure to meet you in person Pierre. I admire your continuous reference to leave no trace and your respect to the environment. I really hope everyone follows what you do. Also thanks for the suggestions and information you provide on the gear and also on surroundings during your videos, super informative, keep up the great work!!
Great video as always. Just a small tip- when you are using an axe/knife for chopping, always put a piece of wood under the wood you are chopping so that you dont hit the sharp blades with the rocks and risk damaging the edge 🙂
Hi Pierre, enjoyed a lot that solo camping vlog as it went really so successful. Well done for the food prepared by the help of Sharon, and its a shame she wasn't with you to enjoy such nice views by the sea, the quiet fresh area and the sunrise too. Not sure if that was part of Xaghjra coast. Make it a point that the next one won't be so solo camping. Yes as you have always recommended the leave no trace is very important, and safety too. Well done for all the professional equipment as everything came in use so easily. Thanks for sharing, will look for the next one maybe a Kayaking adventure. Well done.👍👍
Thanks Ben, you have a keen eye, you was very close, altough not sure where Xghajra cost ends and zonqor starts. Yes Kayaking very soon, was actually thinking about it
TENT WITH A VIEW ⛺ 🌊 🌇 🌅 SOLO IN PARADISE 😇. It's always a pleasure watching your vlogs Pierre - very organised!. Love your amazing gadgets especially your powerful miniature pump 😮. Indeed, it was "Glamping" at it's best including the MENU 😋 (thank you Sharon for your caring, healthy & tasty input 😊). Also, that's my kind of healthy brekky, especially in Summer - good for you 💪 😊 WELL DONE 'CAMPER PIERRE' & THANK YOU 🎥 🏆 👏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ❤️ 🇪🇺 ™️
How lovely to be so close to the sea and those views of sunset and sunrise, i particularly like your camping in style, everything you done and your equipment worked well, i do hope your message is making people think, top marks for leave no trace and its also so easy to do. Thanks Pierre another great video. ⛺👍 Ps. The food looked amazing and good luck with the diet.
Well done Pierre. I must commend you for emphasising the leave no trace approach to camping and also about the safety of using tools such as the axe and the knife.
From what I think, I am not an experest, on rocks it will look like waste and malta is very small, so if everyone leaves these ashes behind will be a problem . I think
Answering you on behalf of Malta Ranger Unit. We understand that the reasoning you mention is common and that you don't intend to do harm. However... 😊 1) it's illegal to leave anything behind 2) leaving organic waste, especially along the coast, is very bad. It attracts rats. Along that cliffs you have the seabirds nesting. They'll go for your leftover food and then proceed to eat the chicks or the eggs. The shearwater seabirds lay one egg yearly, hence your leftover food has then caused a loss of a whole year for their species.
We love you!!! You help us create better camping experiences in Malta. Keep it up king 👑👑 !!!!
Wow thank you ☺️👍

If you leave the organic material it will just turn into soil. Why bother taking it back ?

Hehe, needed an other one :( Was so good cold, love that beer
Silly question: is it safe to go solo there?
No its not a silly question, as always being with a friend is always safer but I am from this area and I know normally is safe.
camping add. Malta is too small for camping
What you mean by add ? Yes it’s small but that’s what we have
