I was an administrative assistant for about 20 years and was so unhappy being a paper pusher, I felt like I was not contributing anything to society. Then something bad happened that later gave me the experience to be able to work helping parents reunify with their families, which led me to now work with disabled parents. I was afraid to start over because of my age but the bad thing that happened opened the door to a new beginning.
