@@Zlarel My guess is that maybe the emus erased that from the history books so that the humans won't be ready for when they finally decide to take over.
I like to think that the History Man was telling all of this to children at the Citadel long after Furiosa took over. Notice how he said "my dears" which may refer to a class of children who he is telling the story to.
I wonder if the People Eater's look to Furiosa as he scoops up the sand is a hint of camaraderie. Like her surviving her ordeal to warn them has them looking at her more as Imperator than Praetorian and he's sharing the cathartic "We're about to bury this bastard" gesture.
I like to think that too. Something I love of these movies is that even evil has its humanity. Hell, that exchange between Immortan and young furiosa is amazing, He ASKS her if she wants in, and she kinda tries to get him against Dementus. You can see her trying to guess if Immortan will find what Dementus did as horrible, and kill him for it.
I love how apparently this is set not just after 1 apocalyptic war, but basically after a series of armageddon level wars. It genuinely makes it feel it is set at the end of the world.
the problem with this film is that it would have been so much more epic and engaging to see the army of Dementus against that of Immortan not just a 20 second montage but really a final scene of 2 gangs fighting each other reduce the length of the film to end at this decisive point
There is no problem with this film. It tells the story of Furiosa, not the wasteland. That you didn't like it doesn't mean there's a problem with it. Not every movie has to be the same shit. This is why we keep getting repetitive formulaic crap.
Could be a reference to either Road Warrior or Thunderdome. A Boom Town is a town that undergrows rapid growth due to sudden prosperity, much like the Oil Refinery or Barter Town and how there were battles to defend or to take them
The one thing that broke the suspension of disbelief for me was Furiosa building the prosthetic arm on her own It would've been more convincing if she saw someone with an advanced prosthetic limb, so this person showed her how it worked, and then helped her to build the arm
The prosthetic arm was already on the wheelchair .... She was already used as some mechanic on the war rig, She perfected only the arm with the grinder and such by adding things. But yes .... I do think you are right in a way as the Organic Mechanic did help her in some way. Yet in a way everybody she was close with already died and de O.M. did treath humans as just parts or mechanical things like the one in labor.

With Mad Max taking place in Australia, they forgot to mention Australia's greatest war of all time. The Emu War of 1932.
