If you were to die today would you be 100% sure you’d go to Heaven? Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world and that’s all that matters, his blood was needed to be shed for us sinners so that all of humanity could go to Heaven even though we all deserve Hell, no one is righteous, only God is. Jesus Christ, God the Son, always existed and came unto the earth born of a virgin, lived a sinless perfect life, to be the lamb of God slain for the sins of the WHOLE world, every single sin was nailed to him on that cross, no one can get to the Father but through Christ, trust is all it takes to get saved, not by works/ good deeds (sadly most people think that they have to repent of all their sins to be saved but 1. Not possible 2. If it was, why’d Christ need to die for us if we can do it ourselves? The enemy has misused and twisted the word repent to drag souls down to hell, repent (Greek word metanoia) is a change of mind meaning to turn from trusting in your own good deeds to save you, to trusting in Christ alone, realizing you could never meet the bar of holiness God demands through the Law. Ephesians 2:8-9 says salvation is a GIFT (you don’t do anything for a gift you just receive it) given unto anyone who simply trusts in his death burial and resurrection as the only payment for all sin, it really is that simple but the deceiver of this world, Satan, and his minions, have deceived the world with religion and false Christianity (putting works before Christ’s sacrifice) that only leads to hell. Beware! The moment you trust in the gospel; that Christ died for your sins was buried and rose again, you’re saved and sealed forever. Yeah it seems like the logical and “right” to turn from sin to be saved but that’s the subtleness of the serpent that the devil operates with to deceive. It’s very cunning and deceptive and that’s why so many people buy into it, Proverbs 14:12 “There’s a way that seems right unto man but in the end it leads to death”. Turning from sin after saved is a process (some struggle more than others but that doesn’t change the fact that salvation is secure, it’s based on his righteousness we receive by faith not ours). Praise GOD.
