@@nicolaslatger289 A feats lasts one month and gives everyone on your team +2 happiness and a flat +2 food/wood/lore/krowns production. It also gives everyone on your team a +20% production bonus when gathering food/wood/lore/krowns (I think it applies to both villagers and buildings). With that in mind, I'd say the best time to throw a feast is when ALL your villagers are producing food/wood/lore/krowns - then all your villagers get the +20% production bonus. You should refrain from feasting if you have villagers that are wounded or are healing, constructing buildings, mining, etc, as they won't benefit from the +20% production bonus (wounded villagers will benefit less from the +20% production bonus). You should also refrain from feasting during the winter unless you absolutely have to as the +20% production bonus will be less effective. Also, you need to keep your happiness in mind when you feast. If you're at 0 or -1 happiness and you feast, you may produce an extra villager. Then, when the feast is gone, you will have -1 or -2 happiness, which is really bad. Those are like "general guidelines", but of course feasting can be done in various situations for various purposes.

I haven't played this game in a long long time, so I don't know if the mechanics are the same. Back then at least, when you used a scout to scavenge shipwrecks in teammates territories you would get an insane wood/gold bonus compared to if you scavenge shipwrecks in your own territory.

@@kubel83 I think I must disagree :D It is a way too fast paced rts game to be considered more like civilization and settlers than, say, AoE. You have hands on control on more or less all your units/structures in real-time, like in AoE, which allows for high micro/macro. The actions you can perform with your units are very similar as well. On the other hand, the way you, as example; expand your territory and population, and manage your resources, draws heavily on aspects from completely different strategy games, like Civilization. The game is a great mix of very different types of strategy games, with its own unique twists.

Starcraft just got a lot more things you can spend time on micro/macro-ing. Not that I'm a pro at Starcraft (I average on 100-110 apm as terran which is very slow compared to competent SC players). High rank in Northgard shouldn't be compared to high rank in SC... In any case, it was a while ago I played Northgard, but compared I'd say in Starcraft you got: faster income, more units/structures/tech, way more diverse units, more units with active/aim abilities, air units, faster movement speed, transportation, warping in units across the map, units free to move across the map, etc. So, it's not that strange there is more is going on in SC... :)
