The biggest challenge of this game was convincing your teammates to scout for you. I usually have to scout myself (upgrade main hall + scouts = 15 stone) and that delays me till autumn 801 - winter 802.
any advice for someone that struggles to stay in positive food/wood income? should i always aim to increase my population or should i only increase when i need to?
What do you recommend going for lore most games? I usually start mining and sailors unless I’m going for field rations, is it better to go woodcutter and just make one camp though?
have your gold be to make as much gold as possible. Thats how I started. Though I would have food problems and eco problems later, its a good way to learn. Just try to make a ton of gold by 2nd winter
@@nilsnorthgard6113 yea, i applied a few tips form the rushing vid and it really helepd get me all set up like 2 years soner, but im still struggling with food. winter of 801 i have 11 pop a farm and a fishing hut and im still in negative food with both fully manned
@@spiritretro3571 you shouldn't get more than 1 food tho. Only get 2 as stag.just work more villagers before start winter so in winter you can take the - food
Couldn't you just clear draugr tomb early with one warrior (maybe 2)? It only had 1 draugr plus it has sheep. Then you have chief way earlier too... Seems viable to me.
it's 3v3, but with one taken down so early, the recovery is near impossible so they surrendered. the 1v3 is misleading, I though it would be an acutal 1v3 but it was actually 3v3 with wolf being the only active military clan. he needed someone else to scout so I would say at least 1.5 v3 (plus purple guy had his warchief in the attack too.)

Don't go for brewery's. And really don't aim for population. Aim for gold and food. Often at 802 im around 18 pop. don't go for more than 22/23

Never go bottom lore. If you wanna play wolf with stone upgrades you can also go medicine and field ratio and then military

Wolf makes the cost free, he was at population limit and he wanted fresh warriors
