- Follow along as I use Inkscape to convert a picture of a handwritten recipe into an SVG! You can use this SVG with a Glowforge or other cutting/engraving machine to engrave the recipe onto ornaments, cutting boards, etc.
I can commission SVG conversions as well if this seems too tricky or can help troubleshoot if you hit a snag in your own design.

Thank you for this! Was so easy to accomplish with your instruction!!
Glad it helped!
May I ask what you clicked on to be able to delete the dots and lines you didn't want on the page?
So sorry for the delay! Once you have selected the points you want to delete, click delete on your keyboard
@@missteacherdesigns In your video it doesn't show where you actually clicked to get the points to show up.
Where do you get the shape you keep using?
Hey there! Not sure I understand your question. If you mean the rectangle I am using to select the dots, it comes from the node select tool (usually the second arrow from the top on the left side panel)
Is this SVG also usable for a pen plotter machine? Or do you need a path for a pen plotter machine?
I am unfamiliar with a pen plotter machine. So sorry I am unable to answer your question!
None of the toolbars show in your video and when you say go here it’s unclear where you’re talking about. This wasn’t as helpful as I had hoped.
I'm rewatching this just now and you are so right! I apologize both for the very delayed response and the unclear explanations!
