Idoneth is a bucket list army for me for if I ever start painting. Specifically painting them as the Mor' Phann with their eels and other mounts having a ghost/deep see translucent glowy look. Basically painting the eels like you'd patin a night haunt. If I got real confident I may try to pick up green stuff and kit bash one of the undead leviadons that have been stated to swim in the seas of shi'ish. Without double checking I probably misspelled a lot of those but the idea still stands.
Just so you know, you got the biovoltaic blast slightly wrong. You get +1 to the roll if that target enemy unit outnumbers the number of eels, not the other way around 👍
Deepkin were my first aos army. I love the sculpts and the lore, but their reliance on those clear flight stands just turns me off of buying more. Might need to dust them off
Yeah. Though I've seen some real creative tactical rock type terrain to hide or release them. Using undersea ruins, kelp, and one I've thought of is black smokers for a more deep sea themed paint job. Would take a lot of green stuff.
Have I missed any obvious tricks with the Idoneth? As I said I'm not an expert on the Faction so let me know!

Thank you! I thought I'd replied to this, but apologies! Very good catch :)

Never tried it myself but ive seen some really cool bases with sculpted waterspouts instead of the clear flight stands, which seemed way more stable.
