I think the picture should be as clear from the back as from the front in order to complete it
When you mentioned that they hand cut the fabric by placing patterns on where it isn't cut, that actually raises a red flag for me. Fabric has grain line, the horizontal and vertical lines. When not cut along the grain lines the garment will turn out screwed, which is what cheap fashion does to reduce cost. I would not expect a 200$ piece of garment to literally cut corners like that, but maybe this swim wear fabric is exempt from that. Suspicious but I will do more research on the fabric before paying for one. Great information, thanks!
I didn't mean to raise alarm. I also said they use leftover fabric to make scrunchies, etc so there is little to no waist. Note that you can also place fabric to hand cut and it be really nice ie on the bias, which is more expensive, but based on your comment I think you might already know that based on your knowledge. I don't think fast fashion brands have the time / budget in their margin goals to pay people to hand cut vs a machine. I'll also say that this fabric is very unique in its stretch / scrunch. I haven't personally seen a bolt of it, but from owning the suits, I will say there isn't a traditional warp and weft that we see on most clothing today. I would still recommend trying it out for yourself and seeing what you think. Thanks for watching my video and taking the time to comment!

Maybe! I’m not familiar with them. After a quick google search it appears that youswim was founded in 2018 which after Hunza G.
What is the wear like? I've seen people on Instagram saying their suit fell apart.
I've had mine for over a year and have not had any quality issues! I wonder if the people are handling it properly - it says not to put in the washing machine and I know a lot of people who both wash and dry their swimsuits. I usually bring it into the shower with me when I shower after swimming. Both washing and drying it can decrease the lifespan.
Is it see through when wet?
Hi! I actually address this question in the video and the blog post. Are you worried about a specific color? Lighter colors are obviously more prone to being an issue and depending on your size and how much the swimsuit stretches on your own body. For me personally based on the color and my body, I didn’t have an issue with it being see through.

Great idea! Have you checked / asked your local fabric store? I'd start there. I do know that they make their own fabric so the likelihood that you can find their exact fabric is probably not likely. You could probably find similar though - unsure if it would be as stretchy, since their make it stretchier than any competitor versions I've tried. You'd want to find a tubular knitted lycra fabric. I feel like it fits like your average swimsuit, so rides some naturally but not a ton; however, since it is one size fits most it will probably ride on bodies on the upper end of its size range.
