I read that people have been complaining that he kept moving the mic around too much and that he should be able to hold it at "the right distance" so the levels stay the same. As a singer myself I can say it was very likely that because the speakers on the floor were pointing at the platform he was standing on and not tipped back he likely couldn't hear himself very well. When that happens you worry that if you can't hear yourself clearly the audience can't so you bring the mic closer to you mouth. Then shouldn't you sound too loud so you move it away again. It becomes a nasty cycle but having watched this twice now there are only a couple of times he does it. It really annoys me when people who have no experience performing on stage moan about things like that. I love MR Buble and it was, as always a great performance and the dance was fantastic. Love Alijaz and Janette they are always so in sync.
I'm a singer too and I believe he could hear himself but certain parts of the song he sings softer so he'd bring the mic closer to balance it out. To that audience they could hear him well enough but the way they mix the audio to broadcast, it comes out differently. You don't hear the reverb or anything else
Great performance but keep in mind that the set up isn't the best for singing as is a dancing show but mic seems too quiet due to strictlys set up but again well done to him and respect for moving aside to let them dance
He has in ear monitors in so he wouldn't be relying on the floor monitors. Singing live and getting the balance perfect isn't easy, I thought he did a fine job as always

Everything about this video is cool…except Buble’s version of this Elvis classic. I know he tried to jazz it up but you shouldn’t mess with perfection. Sorry Buble’ this is a fail.
He sounded like he was drunk. When he’s singing in the studio it’s obvious his voice is put through auto tune, it sounds his voice is being played on a keyboard.
Singing with a big band or any kind of band is incredibly tough when you can’t hear yourself properly. Your voice naturally makes you want to go louder and shout.. Bublé here pulled it off quiet well, he’s well trained.. auto tune on the other hand, everybody uses it.. don’t pin it all on him. He has fessed up to using it now and again on his own pop songs. Hats off to anyone that can go on a stage and sing. It’s not as easy as it looks!

He sang a Pasha and flack Mack the knife song along with Dean Martins Napoli! I sat on my balcony watching the tribute act with a coffee and brandy! Along with Jason on the balcony 2 floors up pretending to be the milk tray man!
