Let’s face it; doing any song made famous by Elvis can turn into a karaoke impression as the Kings voice was so memorable but hey Buble is a class act in his own right and an Elvis fan; this is great fun 👏👏

Well done....he is definitely a great performer but noone has the magic Elvis had. Elvis was a one off extraordinary talent.
I love Michael but Elvis is in another - and very untouchable - league.
It's a neat trick to make singing look so easy and stylish - and Bublé is a master at that. This was as enjoyable as Elvis' wilder version.

Have to admit not knowing much about Michael Buble but this performance opened my eyes - it's pure Showmanship , Buble makes this look easy ,and he's a class act for sure - the audience reaction is just pure joy and you can tell by Jools' inane grin that he too is having a whale of a time - I doubt you'll see a better all round performance on Hootenanny than this , that was perfection .

He has had a very l good musical grounding. Elvis is his mother’s favourite, Bobby Darin is Michael’s favourite. The ‘younger’ version had influences of everyone from Bing to Deano.
Have a listen to Buble’s Blue Christmas. He gives it a wonderful New Orleans flavour.
He brings jazz and a bit of blues in this rock and roll hit, so it's swinging so hard!

Elvis Elvis Elvis - a spectrum of music that continues to inspire many. MB has a decent voice and its a great arrangement that I enjoyed listening to, but just RUclips the equivalent Elvis version and you can appreciate the difference in voice quality -Elvis is the KING for a reason!

I agree, that is one hot band. At the same time, many band members are clearly big fans of his (and the song), and the entire studio is wildly crazy about Buble. Those conditions tend to bring out the best in all musicians/performers. Studio and band elevates vocalist. Vocalist elevates studio and band. Having watched other Jools' shows this one seems to bring it all to the next level.

It really was uplifting television. The whole show was brilliant and as usual I discovered some new artists and thoroughly enjoyed ones that I already admire immensely. Buble was superb and the look on Jools face throughout was wonderful. Watching a craftsman at work thrills him.
