I pulled my wrist last Monday and haven’t been able to hit my pecs, arms, and shoulders. I also couldn’t do squats. I was feeling sad and angry at myself because of the injury, until today when I realized that front squat is a thing, and I can do it without bothering my wrist. Such a happy day today :D Gonna destroy my legs tomorrow

Great observations Mr.b!! I love when people talk about mind muscle connection.....pr,s. Mean that the mind and the muscle are working together....if the mind and the muscle wasn't connected any motion wouldn't be possible..a person would be paralyzed......thanks for the amazing vids..this old geezer loves them!!
have you guys tried other variations of pressing? I havent been able to flat bench in a year, but for whatever reason, no pain on incline or overhead press
I laughed sooo hard out loud when you said you were stuck in bed for a week peeing in a bucket. 😂 I did the exact same thing doing reps a little too aggressively with 365 (which ironically wasn’t that heavy for me). But I pulled the same thing in my back and couldn’t walk or stand. I remember crawling to the bathroom the first day and by day 2 I was useless peeing in water bottles while laying in bed. I do not wish that on anyone either. I healed up just fine too 👌🏻
used to train 3-4 days a week few years ago then quit gym for various reasons. This summer I been grinding 6 days a week and haven't had single day when I would have felt that I haven't recovered. You just have to plan it out. There are always few days off between each muscle group I train. For example I train chest on monday and next time I hit chest is friday. Everyone can recover in that time frame. I'm starting to feel like I could hit the gym even more often lol. Wish I had home gym. I could do some extra evening sessions :)
Hey Bugez, love all your info and have started incorporating Bulgarian light methods with great results! I've noticed from all your videos that you mostly prioritize deadlifts over squats and always relate the effectiveness of an exercise to whether it contributes to your deadlift. My question is, why do you prioritize the deadlift over say, the squat? Do you find that the deadlift contributes more to athleticism than the squat? Thanks for the great info, keep it up!
Hey Eric. What kind of rep range should I use to be able to use the Bulgarian method? Should I just work up to my “max” for the day and then just leave it at that? I’m just trying to figure out how to implement this in my trading because I’ve just been pulling and waiting 5-7 days before I pull again because I’m so wrecked from the reps I do. Thanks bugez you’re like our big brother!
Hey Eric, would you consider maxing out on weighted pull ups again? I'm considering doing that now that I've got an actually good pull up bar. Any tips for preventing elbow pain when it comes to frequent weighted vertical pulls?
Bugez question for your QnA: What do you think are numbers I should strive for if I do parkour (a lot of jumping, climbing, striding, jumping over, some flips, explosive movements)? Where is the line when bigger numbers in lifts doesn't pays off? For squat, dead, press, bench.
Hey Eric, my question is that I am burning out super fast on my leg days. I do a 5x5 squat, superseted with leg curls, then I am so fatigued that I always hate to do posterior chain work... I tought about GPP, but I can tolerate that even less... What should I do?:/
training every day can still be optimal if you train as smart as you do. if it's an addiction that doesn't involve substance abuse then it's definitely called a hobby. no worries, Lord Van Hagen
I just started deadlifting every day, and I saw earlier you replied to a comment saying instead of doing conventional deadlift every day you should do it every other day. And in the off days add a press in. But In here it seems like you’re implying that you should do one main workout and kill it. I would really appreciate it if you could clarify that for me !
Yo Ricktoffin. Bro since I have chosen less and less exercises to focus on, I am gaining size and strength like never before. Hit one hard and gain yuh.
I'm behind on NXT by about 2 months but I'm seeing you more and more in the crowd on the shows. Are there any wrestlers that you really enjoy working out with? Any that have great work ethic re: weights?

Romello Crawford yea not bad. Bugez trains Bulgarian style. Bulgarian is mostly for strength adaptations, you’ll put mass on but not as much you’d gain from hypertrophy work. Also be sure to switch deadlift variations after you do the same one for 3-4 days

Don't deadhang. contrary to what people believe, deadhang pull ups actually cause more harm than good!
