"He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail." ~ 1 Samuel 2:8-9
Romans 5 clearly teaches that all who died in Adam were made alive in Christ. To live in that reality (identity) we need to renew our minds or thinking. This is the meaning of repentance (metanoia). The Spirit was given so that we be lead into truth and the truth will set us free. The ultimate aim is to make Mankind in His image and reconcile All to God. This is Good News.
