He is playing the Emcee in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. Don't know how close you are to NY, but you should go if you can!
I want to know when some film studio picks up this amazing talent? The camera loves him and he sure knows how to work the camera. As well, he demonstrates his acting chops in every song. And judging by his brilliant speaking voice (during lengthy interviews) and his quick wit, dialogue will hardly be too big a challenge. Now, with his stint on Broadway ….. what’s stopping the next opportunity?
Nick, my all-time favorite by Adam is 'Soaked' which he sang in Indianapolis, following American Idol - shows the impact Adam had on the audience, just about brought them to their knees, me too !! this is the best video for the song in my opinion - would love to hear your reaction to this one please
Nick, another great reaction. Thanks, as always. I was a bit of a “Glee Nerd” for a few seasons. There are several interesting articles that I read a good while back that explain the technical needs of how songs were treated, such as having to account for abrupt transitions from speaking to singing and what that demanded to achieve more seamless end presentation. If I remember correctly, for even the powerhouse performers, there was some sort of opportunity to somehow incorporate some live and some lip-syncing, while many of the still good but not to the caliber of some others would be totally lip synced. I don’t remember if any one performer did any fully live, but if so, I would bet it would have been Lea Michele, Darren Chris’s, and the actor who played Mercedes, as they were on basically the whole run of the show. Adam wasn’t in many episodes because one of the world tours with Queen caused him not to be on longer.
Love it ! Now I might need you to react to some more glee.. The show is great, but you can also only watch the music performances, that are AWESOME.. Adam was in another good one "Roar" with Demi Lovato as well, or "Hold on". But if you want to watch some great and iconic glee performances without Adam (as he was only a side character in season 5), I'd recommend to start with "Don't stop believing" in season 1, an anthem for the show (they have at least 5 different versions through the show lol).
I know you haven’t reacted to BTS in a while. But Jin released his solo debut album in Nov 2024. It includes two new music videos for “I’ll Be There” and “Running Wild.” I think you’d love it because it’s a pop rock 2000s era album. 😊
