The tone In my head!! Poor man's '1959 Les Paul' Noodling around with some melody ideas I had for a Ballad.
'Gary Moore', 'Mark Knopfler', 'Joe Bonamassa', 'David Gilmour', 'Andy Timmons', 'Steve Lukather', 'Stevie Ray Vaughn', Brian May', 'Jimi Hendrix' and a touch of myself all mixed together and on a budget ha ha.
Just need to get 'Jeff porcaro' and 'James Jamerson' in my band and I will be happy ;)

Beautiful playing Matt ! It doesn't matter about the budget - what's important is how you make the guitar sing. You've got great feel and your vibrato is amazing. Good players can play low budget guitars and make them sing, and you've got the talent. It's in your hands, fingers, mind, and heart...more so than the cost of the instrument. Great playing!
I have the AC2 set in a gorgeous vintage Japanese ES175 , strung with 12-54 chrome flatwounds tuned 2 steps down. Killer sounds!

Hey Matt, I finally tried the Tonerider Alnico 2. I put them in an Epiphone LP Standard that I brought to life with all new hardware, nut, bridge, pots, caps, tuners, ect.
