- Serena Williams called out Harrison Butker on live TV for his controversial commencement speech. On Thursday, July 12, the tennis icon hosted the ESPY Awards. During the show she was joined on stage by sister Venus Williams and actor Quinta Brunson for a discussion about women’s sports. Serena ended the conversation by taking a jab at the Kansas City Chiefs kicker. After Venus told the audience to enjoy women’s sports like they would any other sports, Serena quipped, “Except you, Harrison Butker. We don’t need you."

My high school sweetheart was the breadwinner while I was in school and until my practice became successful. At which point she was free to do whatever she wanted with my support. She an excellent accountant. We are married 44 years 5 professional adult children and 13 grandchildren. Our only daughter was encouraged to be a professional as well as a wife and mother. If you want a woman to be a wife and mother exclusively (a noble profession), have the financial resources to back it up. Few young men are in that capacity. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
