In the Reconnaissance Mission with Runa, The vikings have no way of knowing how to safely traverse the hundreds of miles of swamp to reach the samurai’s city without losing excessive amounts of casualties or just getting lost. Hence the reason for maps to safely guide their way through to it. Been loving these revisits, haven’t touched the game in years but I remember the campaign vividly.
im glad i asked this makes so much more sense than what the start of the campaign tells you. its literally just (runa is sent to find samurai maps) the end
@@RAPTORREX_ I completely understand the confusion, the description for that intro into the mission glossed over way too many details 😂. Took me a couple playthrough’s to get the gist of it. Keep up the good work, looking forward to the final chapter!
Honestly Tozen was the hardest fight on Realistic for me (Especially his Shadow Clones stuff). I baited Gudmundr by rolling back which forced the Ai to do the Charge Attack and i did Apollyon with the feats you get troughout the Level.
So... About the knights speaking latin instead of english, english (or whatever other language you select as a player) is implied to be the neutral language as in the language used by any faction to talk with each other. This means that in each of the campaigns the characters are speaking their native languages, a smart move since it's unlikely that someone from another faction speaks it and so keeping your opponent from knowing whatever your saying to your allies, unless talking with someone of another faction. This is also why warmonger is the only character who always speaks whichever language you have selected unlike the rest of the cast which only do so when being revived. Ps. What the game is telling you for valkyries sweep is that, if you land a guardbreack, you can push your opponent and then do the sweep, also I'm pretty sure it also tells you that you can us your sweep as a finisher. Ps 2. Don't you DARE disrespect for honor amazing soundtrack funny man.
Thehre looking for maps so the army can get through the swamps of the myre without everyone dying. There's actually a ton of stuff for the lore you have to find in game
its literally not explained where they are going. the mission details just say "the warborns valkyrie runa heads into the samurais myre in search of maps". maps for what and where the game does not tell you
@RAPTORREX_ if you played Apollyon's voice memo on the mission, she says ”To reach the great city of the Emperor, the Vikings now faced the Myre. Here, brute force would not suffice. Skill and knowledge would be needed to cross safely. The Warborn Valkyrie, Runa, was sent to find a way through.”
You seem to be assuming the single player maps copy the multiplayer maps. What if the multiplayer maps are copying the single player maps? Do you give a lower score for multiplayer maps that are the same as single player maps as well? Probably not.
i already cut out so much of the bigger stutters and at that point id have to re read it. its just a ton of work on top of already a ton of work tldr(im lazy)
..brother are you aware that those maps are not "reused" or "redesign" of multiplayer maps?... are you aware that the story mode was first?.... ....it reallyt got me like "what the hell he's talking about?..."
in development of a game you make both multiplayer and story maps at the same time. re using is re using no matter what if you dont understand that theres no helping you. look at the most recent call of duty every campaign mission was a reused map from multiplayer and people are chewing that to shreds. no favoratism

I recently played the whole campaign on realistic and Tozen was the only one who gave me trouble as well. It was just hard for me to block his attacks
fun fact: ragnar is the one who killed davis in the knights campaign, and the one who apollyon spared
No! Not Davis! 😢
Ah Davis the most recognisable man from For Honor
Bring davis back as a hero
Even Davis

yea i know that but since then even goodmunder spoke english so the language barrier did not exist until the vikings campaign

19:36 No hate, but wtf was this criticism? How are you going to efficiently navigate an unknown land and its fortresses without maps?

well then thats my fault at the end of the day. but i feel like it should def be told to you before you start
@@RAPTORREX_ that's valid tbh.
For honor was meant to be played without fight UI. Even in multiplayer
I liked the part where RAIIUDDDERRR
You seem to be assuming the single player maps copy the multiplayer maps. What if the multiplayer maps are copying the single player maps? Do you give a lower score for multiplayer maps that are the same as single player maps as well? Probably not.
yes i will. reusing a map multiple times is lazy game design. they reuse the myre for 3 missions and its not even a multiplayer map.
Babe wake up RAPTORREX just uploaded
No part 3 ?
They need maps to find and kill the emperor and the stronghold
Just curious, why do you keep the takes where you stutter and re-read the lines?

the last mission on the the viking campaign gave me the most struggle on the realistic mode of for honor.
