We are very laid back here in Hawaii, summer clothes all year, rarely wear jeans because it’s warm. Men’s dressing up (weddings, etc) it’s Aloha shirts, but here, they are very nice, not the typical aloha shirt. Women wear summer dresses. Very casual & beach wear is a must!! Last time I was in Norway and Sweden , in Oslo I saw so many people wear as they were ready for sport or hiking even in the capital but when I across to Stockholm by train, the fashion is totally different. I think because Norway has so many mountains which everyone is ready for ski or hiking every moment, nature is close for them loveeee it

I wear cotton knits in yoga pants, plain t shirts, cardigans, gray parka. Lots of my stuff is fromLands End and LLBean. Lots of people wear North Face parkas, usually black. I like the bright parkas in Norway. I live in Michigan, US.
Yes, the bright parkas are cheery in the midst of drab. Have been changed out of black to Blue now that I'm older black is for the Young because otherwise it pulls color out of an older face making you look older so now I wear Navy's dark blues and even some bright Blues but no black on the top only slacks and shoes

Ah yes! When you went into the outdoors shop my heart went all happy. I'm from Montana and live in the PNW (Pacific North West) in the US, which includes our neighbors in British Columbia(that may confusing so many prefer the name Cascadia that encompasses all). Here our best store is REI (from Seattle) which has what you need for our weather wear, but mostly it is outdoor adventure gear (camping, bicycling, rock climbing, skiing, kayaking...). PNW style is pretty casual and practical. Loved those backpacks! Our family is looking forward to returning to visit Norway again (I want to go in winter next time for the skiing). Love your show.

Can’t really say which fashion style defines the Netherlands. There’s a lot of vintage fashion going on, but also super cheap disposable crappy clothes from like the Primark for example. There’s a little bit of everything I guess. Is vintage and second hand also popular in Norway? Tips for when I visit in May? ☺️
This video raised lots of questions. Do Norwegians hunt? I saw a lot of safety orange. Are all the clothes unisex? Is there business attire? Aren't there pretty, feminine clothes? What do people wear to church or weddings or other more formal occasions? Jeans and graphic tees make up a large portion of our wardrobes in the Midwestern US, but those are our play clothes--after work and weekends. Work and special occasions require something else.
Yup, I quickly learned how to dress in layers and the value of wool when I worked outside before, especially when I was working on a garbage truck. Good old knitted wool socks are a life saver in really cold winter weather, the fuzzier the better.
These educational programs are the best! The people on the street don't seem to wear much colour, but the stores you're showing us have a good selection of things other than black and grey.

In Canada the fashions range from high end to thrift stores. For the most part comfort is the important thing.

We also dress in athleisure here as well, I live in Bend Or at the base of mt.Bachelor one of our fav ski areas. Bendites are very out door people all year long, so if we want to look hot we must look like we are prepared for any and all outdoor activities. 😄 hiking, sking,paddle board etc etc etc. Just love your content, so much fun!! 😁

I’m Chinese but I’m studying in Norway, I can still remember the winter when me and I friend were in Spain wearing these Norwegian style clothes, we really felt weird standing next to other tourists 😂

Ah yes! When you went into the outdoors shop my heart went all happy. I'm from Montana and live in the PNW (Pacific North West) in the US, which includes our neighbors in British Columbia(that may confusing so many prefer the name Cascadia that encompasses all). Here our best store is REI (from Seattle) which has what you need for our weather wear, but mostly it is outdoor adventure gear (camping, bicycling, rock climbing, skiing, kayaking...). PNW style is pretty casual and practical. Loved those backpacks! Our family is looking forward to returning to visit Norway again (I want to go in winter next time for the skiing). Love your show.

Love your shows! Discovered it recently. Yes, athleisure is big in 'Murica and it also appears that it's a global phenomenon. I believe it started in 'Murica and the popularity of Yoga athletic wear.

Can’t really say which fashion style defines the Netherlands. There’s a lot of vintage fashion going on, but also super cheap disposable crappy clothes from like the Primark for example. There’s a little bit of everything I guess.

Jeans and graphic tees make up a large portion of our wardrobes in the Midwestern US, but those are our play clothes--after work and weekends. Work and special occasions require something else.
In general we dress very informal. Not very glamours at party either

I'm in Minnesota, US. Our fashion especially in the winter, is WARM. When it regularly gets -20F/-29C, you dress for WARMTH...
Yup, I was in mn for 35+ years, wore zip up fleece jackets everyday. Columbia boots , a lot of down vests, silk long underwear.
Yup, I quickly learned how to dress in layers and the value of wool when I worked outside before, especially when I was working on a garbage truck. Good old knitted wool socks are a life saver in really cold winter weather, the fuzzier the better.
