Totally shouldn’t be allowed!! The air traffic controllers should have the authority to enforce the pilots not to land otherwise pilots will always take a chance rather than be late or have to go into a holding pattern or worse be diverted. better land now then later when weather is unpredictable EXEPT: runway incursion ILS misalignment or a mayday call from another plane
@@amyrose3117 It all depends on the aircraft, and conditions. If a local airport has a runway that is parallel with the wing it is safe but if it is perpendicular it is not always safe. (this is a short answer i could write up a whole paragraph but I don't have time at the moment)
