- Hosted our first group ride of the season on Staten Island and it started with a bang. The PEV drag races seem to be a hit and hope to host more of these for rides to come. Big shoutout to @east.coast.scooters , S3, Gotham, and Surron NYC and everyone for a nice and clean ride.

Lol I used to commute through that part of Staten Island from the ferry to work multi-modal in my boring old Ninebot Max G30LP and my current Segway Ninebot F2 Pro!
All too familiar with the rough and grizzly Richmond Terrace and Bay Street through St. George! Those were the days!
I now take the NJ Transit at Elizabeth to head back to the city instead of the ferry, going through the scenic Goethals Bridge.
You should try out that route with a group ride! Its so fun!
I was thinking of doing a SI to Jersey ride. I may do a little range test using that route ☺️

Thanks! Dude I actually got that backpack mount but I'm gonna return it lol. The mount doesn't work with all backpacks 🤦🏻♂️
@@JB360_NYC 😂😂😂 I feel like we had that conversation on the s3 ride last year. I couldn’t get the backpack mount to work with mine so I just Jerryrigged it into place. But yea man, your set up looks great!

Wow. It's rare to see jb get smoked! And that was alot of separation. Torque was so crazy on that surron I'm surprised it ain't pop a wheelie on takeoff

Yea it's perfect for running back to the start. Here are his specs:
72V 51ah Gladiator battery
30kw Sotion motor
His battery can run 300+ amps continuous

My Surron has 72/51max pushing 420amps 30kw sotion motor but I was only pushing 330amps due too my far driver 72530

You showed them your middle finger, also after your controller update ( the one that reaches 80mph) how much torque did you obtain?
Surron torque is insane, but can't beat your top speed bro. I think Surron Nm Torque is between 320-450. By the end of the day, it is made for motocross rather than mountain trekking. What if you add a 2nd motor (front) your torque will be to the roof.
The torque after installing the Fardriver is like night and day. Crazy how much power the controller can output
Thinking about getting one of these bikes. Do they mess with you on the island ... Cops i mean i work right there actually under empire outlets
On SI not really, unless you're like doing wheelies in front of them cops don't really bother us.

I do but Dave's setup was the first I've ever raced. Some KO and BAC surrons here and there but first time racing one with a Sotion
Top speeds don't win races, keep telling people that. I think you have more top than Davey but he accelerates quicker. Hope people learn. You ever did an 1/8 or 1/4 mile run or at least 0-60? Nice video Bro get some smaller tires sounds like you still have those big knobbies. Big higher top speeds slower acceleration.

I actually switched to dual sports thankfully but yea Dave's takeoff was clean. Gonna tweak some throttle settings. Hopefully it'll be a closer matchup 🤞🏻

surron are cool but you going have to give up an arm and a leg just for the upgrade cuz coming stock 60v is pretty weak for the price you be paying for. even with the storm bee 72v is overrated. Good thing there’s other ev companies out there now competing with similar bikes for half the price and better specs as well. Only thing i dislike about stealth bomber ebike is the weight and how high the bike is just to get on but in terms of specs, they’re a lot cheaper with a good mid and high end power.

@@JulianShuttleworth-k8g if your battery in the frame has the room, you could technically put it towards the top inside of the frame. Where I installed mine was on the outside on top between the handlebars and seat. Just mounted holes and cut a section out so the wires can feed through. Going inside the frame is much easier I just decided I wanted better airflow so I mounted it outside.
