@@majkel6713 ooh thanks for letting us know. When I was a kid the roads always confused me that why are they different in my game. That's a cool little touch espacially for a 2000s game.
As European i have to say- red roofs tiles are more common and traditional (and its the easiest and chipest to found it in every hardware shop). The same every walls in Europe are mostly made of bricks. If you built your roof with another colour - its still ok, but if you use wood frame walls no one takes it seriousely 😂
PLEASE do a review of all the houses in old town (Unleashed). Also, you coule do a review of the community lots. I feel they don't get the attention they need. Also you can review the built in descriptions of the lots (when you hover over a conunity lot). Amazing channel! Love it
Honestly, I loved the small white house. It had a lot of potential to build extra rooms on the lot. And the 10 Sim Lane was ok for an entire family :) I didn't like any of those huge and expensive houses, because then I needed to go left-right with the mouse all the time to see everything. Great video!
I wish they'd brought the Mashuga family back on Sims 3, like they did with so many others from 1 and 2. How would they translate in to a more modern game, you know!
5:39 This unlocked a memory deep inside me! I always chose this house because as a kid I thought those moon windows were the coolest thing ever along with the inflatable chairs, this house was MY rosebud go to 😂
Having flash backs to when i moved michael bachelor into that exact house before having him seduce bella goth and marry her 😂🤣 that was before the sims 2 and learning that they're brother and sister.
Playing a bit on classic Sims 1 lately without any of the expansions, and I just can't bring myself to use the larger houses. The time that it takes to traverse an area, coupled with how quickly your stats deplete seems to really favor making what are essentially 2 or 3 room trailer homes with a combined kitchen/living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. Fun videos by the way.
When I played it again a few years ago I was shocked at how quickly their stats deplete! I don‘t get why I found Sims 1 easier as a kid than Sims 2 which was much more forgiving. Little me was overwhelmed with the wants. But nowadays it‘s Sims 1 which is actually stressful to play
Newbies' house and 7 Sim Lane are also used (altho slightly revised) in The sims bustin' out for ps2 I dont remember other houses being used in other instances outside the main titles, but im sure some of them are as they are so iconic
I do think since mashuga is somewhat a derogatory word in Hebrew (although spelled differently), it might be why this household never made it further in the franchise. Of course, TS1 was quite mature themed, and has been toned down bit by bit with each of its successors (TS4 is more made for children, needing kids for any teen + gameplay). With all that said, I think the Mashuga house is my favorite of all of TS1 too, for its wacky fun design. I know it definitely will rank in the top 10 of all the mainline series games, but have to go back in all the games and try to get a top 10 of each, then do a comparison (minus TS4, because while it is easier to build, EA does not build great houses, until they featured content creators builds, and I don't have those packs). Does the Mashuga house stay your number 1 throughout the series?
Funny! I put Michael Bachelor, the ‘Roomies’ and the Pleasants in the same houses as you! I usually have Micheal woo Chris and Melissa to see who clicks. Right now, Michael is married to Melissa and Chris has a kitty!
Depending on your OS you can either straight up use the disks if you have them. If you don’t have them or they aren’t working properly, the sims is classified as abandonware, so you can find versions of it online, but do this at your own risk!
don't wanna be rude but so called influencers started make tons of videos called 'ranking something' and what is the point? if you find some lots badly made, delete them, make new ones, why complaining on YT about it? will be sims1 remade cuz you made that rant? NOPE! is preading joy such hard thing to do? for some, it is I see.
I had NO IDEA the houses were different depending on your region.
Not only houses, for Europe roads have no sidewalk, in American one they have
@@majkel6713 ooh thanks for letting us know. When I was a kid the roads always confused me that why are they different in my game. That's a cool little touch espacially for a 2000s game.
I know right that’s crazy.

Also, this video should be in the "Retro Reviews" playlist I think.
The review of all houses in old town is definitely on the list for after my Unleashed Retro-Rewind!

5:14 GOD THEY WERE ROOM MATES
I love TS2 like she loves TS and I never KNEW they had the old house references from the previous game in the story-telling images!!!
WOW

The Mashuga’s are the bessst❤
I could never pronounce the last name when I was a kid but loved the crazy looking place.
This was a lovely review and I enjoyed seeing all the houses, as well as your helpful commentary. Keep up the good work!

5:39 i think im obsessed with this house now
I know right???
Yes, octagonal victory!!!! One of my most memorable playthroughs was with that house. Loved it.

ur vids feel so professional! i'm glad these were suggested to me
I actually agree with your rankings! I used to love the Mashuga's and their house!
You should a video about how you could actually do generational gameplay in sims 1 using the family photoalbums at the same property.
3:35 Okay this made me crack up for a good minute 😭Thank you lol
Great video as always, Kirce. May I ask where you are from? Finding your accent hard to place. Thanks.

It means insane in Yiddish. It for sure would be controversial.
So many memories playing this game❤❤❤
5:23 And they were roommates 😂
I spent way too much time as a kid playing Sims 1
Thank you for the video 😊

Not enough sims 1 content on youtube
I love your videos!
Did you know there were downloadable houses for sims 1 from the developers website?
@kirce what inspired you to make these videos at this point in time? Great channel btw!
Thank you!! The Sims 1 is still very much a day to day reality for me so I’m honestly just talking about what interests me right now!
Can somebody tell me what kind of laptop I need to play this
How can I play sims 1 on my pc?

The Asian Sims 1 house looks like an upgrade. 😅

Because people are allowing to express their personal opinions… if you don’t like it, don’t watch!
I enjoy these videos to know if we have the same ideas.
People are simple and gravitate towards simplistic content.
i think this is a case of taking the video too seriously and not enjoying it for what it is
@@YangBalanceYin People can enjoy both Discovery channel videos and ASMR noises. People can have varied interests!!!!!
