Wow. While you're standing near that bridge in your beautiful feminine dress and hat, and then the other lady walks past in her shorts and T shirt, it was like a night and day difference. I think I need to do some clothes shopping. Femininity really packs a wow.

Clothes does effect our mindset. That’s why some schools require uniforms. A study showed that the uniforms made the kids become more serious about studying and learning. I’m not for or against uniforms but my point is this example shows that what we does make a difference.

Definitely candlight, good smells, cozy socks, sweaters, ... I bring in twigs, seed pods, branches, and finally a beautifully made bed, clean sheets, fluffy pillows, blankets to snuggle under, and lavender linen spray on my sheets/ pillows. A good book! Quiet time to reflect. Thank you Jesus. 🍁🍂
Hi Lea, I'm so glad to see you back on YT. A while back, I noticed you weren't making videos, and I saw the video from James where he said no more videos would be made on this channel. Then I just recently saw that you're back! Your videos inspire me so much. At 60 years old, I finally left a toxic job after 14 years. I'm not old enough to collect social security, but my mental health was suffering from 14 years of trouble and dismay. Now, I'm recovering and resting and leaning on the Father every day. Your recent video where you talk about softer lighting really helped me. In the morning, I light candles while I read my Bible and study my devotional. I make sure to take time throughout the day to slow down and enjoy a cup of tea. No more do I pack my day with one errand after another. It's wonderful to see you again, and I appreciate your lovely videos. God bless you 🙏

One of my favorite moments is when my two sons, 18yrs and 9 yrs, are lying in the couch in the living room, while I’m playing soft music or a relaxing video (Little House of the Mountain) on our big screen, with candles glowing and incense burning, and they look at me and say, “thank you mama for making our home so cozy”. ❤

Beautiful as usual! I don’t even think the overhead lights work in my house. Lol. Even when I was in the workforce, I had them disable the fluorescent lights in my office. I worked in HR so I tried to keep people as calm as possible! Also, I could never live in a world without plants. Low lights, plants, and animals make a house a home. 😊🙏🏼🐾💚🍁🍂
We don’t have a home right now and praying and looking for a new one especially cause I‘m expecting our second child in 6 weeks but when God opens the door for our new home I’ll definitely take your advices…

Campfires are the best part of Fall! It's cooler outside, there aren't any bugs, and the star filled sky seems more brilliant! My mom always said that the stars were actually pin pricks in the floor of Heaven that our deceased loved ones make so that they can watch down on us! It's such a comforting thought, and I sure hope my Mom is peeking through her own pin prick and is watching over me! I just started getting flowers from public areas: railways, street, etc. Oh man, the joy! I love it. I am also learning about medicinal plants. I am grateful to God. We have many sunflowers in our home. Ones from the side of the road are my favorite over store bought.
I have started doing spices in a pot to make our home smell wonderful.
It's the small things.
Just today I turned on the pumpkin scent in my classroom and as we did some pumpkin art we talked and had "Fall Cafe Ambience" playing on our Viewsonic in the background. Quite a lovely morning with my young ones...several even commented that they were reminded of Thanksgiving. Making both my home and my work cozy.
For me it is soft lighting in the evening - fairy lights, lamps, and candles💕

I too enjoy cooler weather and the need for a jumper and wool socks. I call this darker time a candle time...in bright summer it feels a waste to burn them, as we get much light in. We enjoy cold weather foods: hearty stews and soups but most of all an early morning walk in a crisp forest....we have to drive 45min to get there and its my happy place...away from the city center high street, which feels like madness. So i often escape to your videos and am happy for how you are blessed with the life you live. We are stuck in a worste place...for now. Xx

Cook em, compost them, or feed them to chickens! Pumpkins around my house go to the goats as a natural antiparasitic 🙂

This is my favorite time of year too! Our sukkah is always something that brings “cozy” to my heart and sets my intentions for the cooler season. The string lights, the visitors, the Sukkot meals, they fill me with warmth and coziness.
