Frank Hannon is so underrated as a guitarist. He's one of those guys that the music just flows through. Other guys a good players such as his sidekick. Dave Ruud is an amazing guitarist. However, when Frank plays there just something different it's kind of like the difference between a really good college hockey player and a guy who plays in the NHL. One is amazing but the other one is great
I have one of them Epi TV silver series Explorer Pro's like Dave is playing, $299 stupid deal of the day from MF. Made in China :( but the guitar totally kills.
Frank Hannon is a total bad ass monster on a guitar! Dave Rude is a decent player but he's no where as good as Tommy Skeoch! But BRING BACK TOMMY!!! I know Tommy has/had a drug problem especially when on the road during the down time between gigs, which there's a lot of. Try and limit the down time between shows, schedule several close together, have him bring his wife let him go back home if there's a lot of time between gigs whatever it takes, maybe then he can see he doesn't need the drugs to cope with the down time and boredom.
Tommy screwed the band over at least 3-4 times over the years, and that’s only the incidents that are public knowledge. They literally wrote a song about him not being able to help himself. He abandoned them during the Bust a Nut tour twice… The entirety of Tesla, aside from Troy, was fucked up around that time, but they could still keep it together and play… I’d love to see him back on a final tour for some closure, but not if that means Dave loses his spot. Just Maiden it… Playing something super heavy like Solution or Miles Away every night, with three guitars it would be incredible. The main riff on Cowboy would sound awesome with 3 guitars. Dave is damn good musician and brings good energy to the band. His solo stuff is very good. He’s not by any means a slouch…
These guys ROCK...... Fran Hannon is the real freakin' deal.
The dude can shred
GREAT guitar work!!!

Need to Turn up Dave’s volume just a hair. Jammin’
