Testing an old Merry Tiller Tractor sickle bar mower

I've wanted a walk behind sickle bar mower for a long time. Found this Model g-5 merry tiller I bought and fixed up first try. Swapped a 3hp harbor freight predator 79cc engine in place of the old Clinton engine. It seemed to work fine. I did sharpen the knifes after this and next I will be cutting a small field to make some hay.

Just got one. It payd for itself by digging a 100 foot trench for a water line. And has the sykil bar attachments. Nice machines I gave 75 bucks for it 3 up Briggs runs great.

Could you add a height adjustment wheel somehow on the front to keep it consistent, or does it scoot along the ground fairly easily now?
