Hey man thanks for the vid Im very new to the guitar and was wondering how to get that particular sound?
Hey, Carson's Ribs! I'm getting this particular sound by running my guitar through my laptop. My laptop is running a program called Logic Pro X. In this program I have the ability to use digital versions of real life guitar accessories, including but not limited to: guitar amps and guitar effects pedals. So, in this lesson, I have a delay pedal as well as a phaser pedal running. The delay is the signal repeating (think of yelling in a cave and how it bounces off the walls) and the phaser is that soupy/swirly sound (think of putting your head in a bowl of soup and what that would sound like.) And then those pedals are going through a digital version of a Fender HotRodish kinda amp. I believe I may have had a bit of overdrive on the guitar as well. I would have gotten that sound from a digital version of an Ibanez Tubescreamer. Thank you so much for watching! Please let me know if you have any other questions ❤️
