    So is it fair to say that black generally wants to castle on the opposite side of the board as white? Or is it just that castling opposite leads to a more open game and isn't inherently advantageous for black or white necessarily?

    • @skye275
      @skye275 Год назад +5

      Opposite side castling usually leads to more dynamic attacking games as each side is able to throw their pawns at the others king

    • @sietsejohannes
      @sietsejohannes Год назад +4

      Neither. It can happen in open and closed positions and benefit black or white. It usually leads to both players trying to "storm" the castled enemy king with their flank pawns and an advantage to the person who can attack the king the fastest.

    I am a beginner. A total beginner. I played that slavic defense again and again against my PC . Bring out the their queen and both knights was devastating no matter how I wasted moves trying to protect my queen. Can you do this one again but with a sly white opponent.

    could you make a video to explain some ideas how to play in the middlegame? I play a lot of chess. Sometimes i find some nice moves and i win.But sometimes i feel bored because i use the same openings but i struggle to find ideas to move on during the match and i don't how to continue the variation that i chose and i don't know what i have to play with the black pieces.

    So is the best way to defend against the Stafford is to just not accept the Knight at C6? Just retreat or reinforce your knight at E5?

    What do I do if white plays B4 and attacks the queen? Do I just take it? Also what to do with my queen if white plays A3 and then B4? Do I just take the queen back to D8?

      But white is still down a queen for two pieces, with their king floating around in the center. White is hopelessly lost.

      i think everyone should at least know how to play against the traxler as white. its as simple as playing Bxf7 instead of Nxf7 and the retreating the bishop to avoid getting forked.
