Well explained operations research techniques related to network diagram.As Management professional I think network analysis helps a sequence for carrying out some relatives activities of an organization to minimize the total time and cost associated with the executing these activities.PERT,CPM etc.r some of the techniques that helps in planning out the activities.Operation research techniques r used for building information model for the available data.The commonly used used operations research techniques r linear programming, queuing theory, game theory, decision theory, network analysis, simulation, replacement theory nd inventory planning.The contribution that quantitative techniques can make to management decision making is extensive empirical evidence that the relevant application of such techniques has resulted in significant improvement in decision making in both profit and not for profit Organizations in brief.Managers and their supporting information system need to take fast and appropriate decisions.Finally to add the problems the consequences of taking wrong decisions become more serious and costly.Entering the wrong markets, producing the wrong products or providing inappropriate services will have major nd often disastrous consequences for organization s.
