Again, thank you so much for reacting to my request. This is one of my favorites that I love to see peoples reactions too. I know it's a tearjerker, but it says a lot about Kelly and her story. In case you didn't know, this was written by Kelly about her biological father who walked away from her when she was six years old. This is also my story. I love music that tells a story and especially those that tell real stories. Again, thank you so much for your reaction!
Kelly Clarkson and Pink are two amazing performers. Check them out singing Everybody Hurts at the 2017 Billboard Awards. Then Pink's 2010 Grammy performance of Glitter in the Air is hands down one of the best performances.
I cry every time I hear this song by Kelly. My father went away when we were young kids leaving my mother with 8- of us to raise by her self never to come back home, so it really hits home for me. Kelly is a great singer. Thanks❤️✌️
Listen I remember watching this when it first came on the very first time literally in tears watching the song until this day it breaks my heart and I don’t know if you know this but this is about her life. Kelly Clarkson is a bad ass she’s a force to be reckoned with she can sing anything from Country to pop to hip-hop to rock! She is a bad ass, periodt!
Yes, more Kelly, please! Please watch the video for, "Because of You," which she also wrote - when she was 16. And she has an amazing duet with Jake Hoot, who was the winner from her team on The Voice a few seasons ago. Holy cow, is it powerful! "I Would've Loved You." Or, OMG, her tribute to Garth Brooks from the Kennedy Center Honors ... "The Dance." There is nothing she can't sing, I think she has a jukebox in her head and knows every word to every song and can make them all hers. :)
Another great live performance of hers is at the Kennedy Center honors when she sang Garth Brooks "The Dance". She makes Garth tear up singing HIS song. She's amazing
Kelly was fully preggers here. She wrote this song to praise her husband ( by comparing him to her lousy Dad) who eventually stole money from her and was a dishonest jerk, too. Kelly has one of the greatest voices in pop ever. .
She's definitely up there with the GOATs vocally. Her vocal abilities, versatility and gift for emoting deserve to be mentioned with names like Celine, Mariah and Whitney in my opinion. Her talents as a singer seem as limitless as her vocal range!
I'm loving watching the men's reaction videos, and seeing how their strengths is in their love and how powerful their kindness is in the lives of their loved ones through this woman's song. It's beautiful guys.
Of course this song is about how her father was a deadbeat dad but sadly the husband she’s singing about allegedly cheated on Kelly multiple times and now they’re in a messy divorce.
He also spent an excessive amount of her money🤬🤬🤬 And i’m pretty sure she is officially divorced from him. It was messy but she held it together for her babies and unlike him she DID put her 1st (daughter and son)💯💯💯
This song hurts every time I listen, but I can't stop listening. Gotta give props to the pianist; he stayed with her during the pauses, picked back up when she needed him. Just beautiful.
Kelly wrote this song. This is about her and her father. She has a hard time hearing or singing it. One of her best in my opinion! Goddess bless you Kelly!! ❤️❤️
I can't ever listen to this song without crying. The really sad thing is the man she referred to who put her and her child first cheated on her throughout their marriage. Kelly has endured so much in her young lifetime but she has turned all that hurt into something so powerful and it has made her stronger. I adore her and wish her the love and peace we all deserve. Thank you for this one!
I met my step daughter at 6. And her mom was Mia. I love this Song. My dad was a deadbeat around 10 as well. My! daughter is now turning 16. And doing so great. Step parents for the 🏆 win!!!
The man she wrote this about her father who left her and now wants to come back into her life, I wonder why? and her husband at the time who she's just divorced, and has got to pay him thousands of dollars a month in alimony. WHY?..
Since then her husband did walk away and she had to pay him. One reason that Kelly made it so far is that Clive Davis took over managing her. No American idol since has done as well as she has. She has her own talk show and she pulls in about 1 ml a week
Sad that this song was about how her husband restored her faith in men but then he ended up hurting her and demanding a ridiculous amount of spousal support…
She and her mother were abandoned by her biological father when she was just 6. Can you imagine the horrible emotional scars?!?! Then when she meets a man she wants to marry she travels to that asshole to ask him to walk her down the aisle. He says "no" but the man she meets won't leave her. He starts helping her recover from that. We all need to be reversible vasectomy at age 10. Then before we can have it reversed, we need to prove we will be decent fathers.

Thanks so much, I loved your reaction. If you're interested in reacting to another song by Kelly, I'd suggest "Meaning of LIfe" from her second last album. Here is an amazing live performance of it... ruclips.net/video/OXNhpSIwhgI/видео.html
A very emotional performance. However I don't think it's a good representation of what an amazing singer Kelly is. Try her stunningly beautiful version of I will always love you from a few weeks ago at the ACM awards. For something more soulful try Meaning of life (Nashville sessions version). I think these will better show why in my opinion Kelly is the best singer on the planet.

Thanks for requesting it. The address song ever written.
Props to the piano player who just kept going and got her to keep going. He never paused or stopped and helped her get through the song.
Absolutely! Jason has been with her for over 20 years, and knows all of her nuances and is able to perfectly adjust accordingly. Mad props to him!!
I don’t think I have ever made it through watching her sing this song w/o crying. It really touches me and I can relate to it.

Oh wow. I'm so sorry that happened to you and your family. Big props to your amazing mom who is beyond strong. ❤❤❤
Great reaction! Love Kelly Clarkson. Check out her Nashville Sessions, specifically Meaning of Life.

Pure raw emotion 😩😩😩🎶🎶🎶🔥🎶🔥 mannnnn👏👏👏🎶🎶🎶🎃
Miss Independence ..great song. Kelly is unmatched
I cry everytime I see this! Great reaction.
Me too!!!
Thanks for your reaction to this. She’s got a beautiful heart and this proves it for me.
She writes & sings such beautiful music, all of her songs from the 1st album to present are all wonderful.
Kelly was fully preggers here. She wrote this song to praise her husband ( by comparing him to her lousy Dad) who eventually stole money from her and was a dishonest jerk, too. Kelly has one of the greatest voices in pop ever. .

@@MostlyVintageVoices well said and totally agree.
I love Kelly! so much!!!
More Kelly for sure! She’s a beast!
I'm loving watching the men's reaction videos, and seeing how their strengths is in their love and how powerful their kindness is in the lives of their loved ones through this woman's song. It's beautiful guys.
This is EXACTLY 💯 the heartbreak children feel when a parent CHOOSES to walk away. Soo many of us have lived it. Beautiful song. Heartbreaking.
I love this woman she can sing. To me she is great a singers.
Such an incredibly emotional song!!! She's amazing!!🎵🎼🎶💜💜💜
Kelly Clarkson & Reba McEntire...Because of You!!!
Powerful when they sing their truth. Watch her sing The Dance, at The Kennedy Center Honors. It is one of her finest.
Of course this song is about how her father was a deadbeat dad but sadly the husband she’s singing about allegedly cheated on Kelly multiple times and now they’re in a messy divorce.

This is her personal story. I saw her live at a concert singing this song and she cracked up the same, It still affects her. Grreat reaction.
1st American Idol winner
this is so hard to watch without crying!! I love Kelly Clarkson, this woman worked her ass off and came from nothing with the voice of an angel!!
One of my favorite songs! Fantastic lyrics and you can hear her truth - determination! Love it!
Check out her cover of I will always love you
This song hurts every time I listen, but I can't stop listening. Gotta give props to the pianist; he stayed with her during the pauses, picked back up when she needed him. Just beautiful.
You seem to be a loving dad, Mr. Adogg. :)
THIS performance.... EVERY time!
❤️❤️ bless you! Fantastic reaction! :)
This song was kinda the sequel to another song of hers called, "Because of You." The live grammy performance is killer. One of the best.
These lyrics are so ironic with what her life is...or, could she be blending life with art?
The irony that the husband she eulogised about in this song turned out to be worse than the father she derides in it.
Absolutely beautiful 😥❤
Kelly wrote this song. This is about her and her father. She has a hard time hearing or singing it. One of her best in my opinion! Goddess bless you Kelly!! ❤️❤️
So heartfelt

I love this song, song made me cry
Her duet with Vince Gill "Don't Rush" is great!
Love Kelly. Keith's father had passed not long before this
I met my step daughter at 6. And her mom was Mia. I love this Song. My dad was a deadbeat around 10 as well. My! daughter is now turning 16. And doing so great. Step parents for the 🏆 win!!!
I can relate; I was 3 yrs old. Same story. But this song is Beautiful...
you have kind eyes
❤❤❤
❤️🙏🏻❤️
Stop voice typing I remember watching her perform on American idol. But everybody was in tears. Especially Jennifer lopez.p
I always think sure I can watch this again without crying. No I sure can't.
The man she wrote this about her father who left her and now wants to come back into her life, I wonder why? and her husband at the time who she's just divorced, and has got to pay him thousands of dollars a month in alimony.

Carrie Underwood is more successful but Kelly Clarkson in my opinion has the better writing and voice.
Nice reaction.
Could you please react Monsters by James Blunt? The most emotional and raw song I’ve ever heard.
Meaning of life definitely a good start into Kelly. Live always live..if the mic isnt on Kelly is not punching in. Ty
This is so emotional 🧡 I don’t really like her Music but I love this.
She wrote that song
I can hear this being sung loud and proud as a righteous affirmation. A total screw you to her bio dad and now ex husband.
Sad that this song was about how her husband restored her faith in men but then he ended up hurting her and demanding a ridiculous amount of spousal support…
Please react to Bishop Briggs The Way I Do, Lyin' and White Flag!
❤️😭
Can you react to ‘VoicePlay’ please. ‘Hoist the colours’ is a fantastic first watch, you will fall down the rabbit hole once you hear them 😊 xx

The husband she sang of did her dirty too...... Very sad
Billie Eilish
Yes because her father actually did abandon them and left them she doesn’t have a good relationship with her father
Her dad left hher at 6 yrs old only wanted her once she got famous
Her dad left when she was six and her step dad took care of her.
