Awesome Disney Movie Club Editions, There’s A Lot Of Outstanding Titles, Really Cool , 👍👍👍👍, I Order The Home Alone Two Movie Collection, Disney Movie Club Edition, Awesome Video My Friend
Love the Disney movies and I had a bunch back in the early 00s DVDs and some blu-ray but I lost them and so much more in the flood of '14 but I've slowly tried to get what I can over the past few years but I don't have many Disney these days and hopefully if things get better soon I might check out the Disney club. These are classics! I always enjoyed The Journey of Natty Gann and the Herbie movies and I need to revisit The Black Hole.
Love your collection mate. I have always loved Return to Oz as it's one of the first movies I remember seeing in a cinema. (The Wheelers terrified my younger brother and he was taken out screaming lol) The Soundtrack by David Shire is amazing also!
Wow! Very impressive collection. I added several blu-rays that I saw to my want list. I'm mostly jealous of the early DVD club exclusives that you have. (I've only seen SO DEAR TO MY HEART.) I was pleased to see that THE BLACK CAULDRON blu-ray is now available from the club. George has already suggested FREAKY FRIDAY (and I will be adding the more recent one with Jamie Lee Curtis to my want list). The recent FREAKY with Vince Vaughn is a twisted variant of those films. I would also suggest IN SEARCH OF THE CASTAWAYS, which is based on the Jules Verne novel and is a classic adventure film. Not as good as SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON, but still good. I would also recommend the original PARENT TRAP. I've admired Maureen O'Hara as John Wayne's love interest in films such as RIO GRANDE and THE QUIET MAN. She is just as good opposite Brian Keith in this movie. Plus, you get Hayley Mills playing twin sisters. i wish the Club would release the hybrid films from the forties such as MAKE MINE MUSIC and more of their live action films, such as DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE and A TIGER WALKS. There are a lot of Disney Films from the fifties and sixties which I haven't seen and look interesting, such as TEN WHO DARED. Thanks for all that you do and stay well!
Thanks man. There are still 21 titles I’m missing from the exclusives, so all of those suggestions will be in future upload videos here, plus some that haven’t been mentioned. Always good to hear from you Erik. Take care man.
Amazing collection Todd. My favorites are Home Alone films, Herbie the Love Bug films, Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Santa Clause Films, Frozen, The Apple Dumpling Gang, especially with Herbie the Love Bug and Home Alone films, I grew up with watching them billion times. You should also buy Honey I Shrunk the Kids and it's sequel Honey I Blew Up the Child, Freaky Friday both 1976 and 2003 remake (if and my favorite is the 2003 remake).
Oh I love The Fox and the Hound so much! Its my favorite Disney movie of all time! I have that DMC edition of the movie and I got rid of The Fox and the Hound 2 dvd disc because I hate that movie (its a disgrace to the original) I'm doing the same for the other DMC movies like Brother Bear, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Emperor's New Groove by giving away those direct to video sequels dvd discs that have nothing to do with the original movies at all
So Dear to My Heart was originally/theatrically released as a limited run in the year 1948 and then finally released all over in 1949. So it is a late 1940's Disney film, not from the 1960's. This post is just updating the year that film came out, you know for historians (of course)!!!
Attack on Titan is good, as far as Disney I’d say collect what you like best. Some of my faves are The Fox and the Hound, Ratatouille, The Sword in the Stone, and The Lion King
Came here for your Arrow and SF releases, stayed for Disney... ;) Awesome Movie Club Collection! One question: I‘m from Germany and trying to find a way to get some Disney Movie Club Collection titles for my own collection, but sadly Disney does not allowe international sign ups for their program. Would you be interested in a trade? Right now I‘d have 10 Zavvi Mondo Disney Steelbooks or some Mondo LPs (Jaws, Back to the future) for trade. I could send those upfront to you, so you can check them first, but all are new and sealed. Maybe in return you could order some Movie Club titles for me from Disney? Keep on collecting and Greetings from Germany! Chris
Thank you for then compliment, and I'm glad you like the videos. I love Disney as much as I love horror, so it's good to hear from other fans too. I'll look into a trade package with you, but shipping from the US to Germany and back is very very expensive.
Yes, shipping costs became quite challenging especially during the last year. But thanks for your kind reply and let me know, if you’d be interested nevertheless. Maybe you would need some other edition from Germany where I could help out? Would be awesome to find a way besides eBay to get some Disney Movie Club titles and support each other between collectors. Regarding shipping costs, I think we could figure something out, so that it should work for both sides. Best Wishes from Germany! Christian
