This is the most beautiful thing ever written. You play it beautifully Jeff. Can't help but well up!! I have just received your book with this melody included with the other 59!! The book is just excellent. Any one reading this? If you love this GET JEFF'S BOOK!!! If you are serious about uke its the best book written and high quality spiral bound too. I have no financial interests just a close follower. Pete
No, you're wrong. This is a tenor as you can see by the tuners. These tuners are sold with tenors and longneck concerts but regarding the sound I think this is a tenor.
@@Teeum5 I just looked at the koaloha site. Dang me if you’re not right. They have started using guitar tuners on their ukuleles. It looks terrible to my eyes but fashion follows the trends.
@@andrewkoastephens210 Hi Andrew, I'm not very familiar with ukuleles but I know KoAloha since about 2017. And since them I know that they used these kind of tuners for their tenors. Coming from the guitar I preferred those because the handling is easier for me. But I agree now I prefer the other tuners (sorry don't know the english word for it) which look nicer on a ukulele - and thank god, Gotoh made their UPLT which are geared tuners. Hope I didn't mix up everything.
@@Teeum5 KoAloha is a wonderful company. I was lucky to buy mine in the early years. I got mine in 1999. If I remember correctly they only made a concert and a soprano back then. They were made for Roy Sakuma’s students only, but a few music stores in Hawai’i carried them. That’s where I got mine. Maybe it wouldn’t have been offered but my partner was a local. They wouldn’t be exported for a few years yet. All KoAloha’s used to have peg-style (sometimes called banjo-style) tuners. I have to adjust my thinking now. Back in the old days only cheap ukuleles had guitar-style tuners because they were less expensive for factories to source. It was an easy way to make a distinction between a high quality instrument and a low quality instrument. I see now that I have carried this outdated opinion.
The sound is somewhat so warm and emotional if i close my eyes it's just as good as a classical guitar version
impeccable performance
Beautiful. Currently learning this pieces. Love it
Thank god for this ukelele version.
I am so glad you like it!
Beautifully arranged and performed my friend, thank you very much for this 😉

Beautiful. I recognise this as a Koaloha concert ukulele but what’s up with those crazy tuners?
