Thank you SO much for this review! I have been sewing for MANY years and my daughter gave me my first computerized machine on my birthday in March. I had not had a chance to really look at it. However, this video has really helped a lot and now I'm even more excited about getting started and sewing on it. I really appreciate the information on purchasing "brother" bobbins. I'd tried a simple stitch on it and was having issues. Thanks for clearing that up.
This helped me so much......I make candles and would like to make fabric to go over the lids and I am trying my hand at quilting my grandsons baby clothes. Thank you so much for this video.
Thanks for the review! And actually a "walking foot" is a specific type of presser foot that is used a lot in quilting or stretch material because it raises and lowers as if it is walking over the fabric so not to move it around. The feet to a sewing machine is referred to in general as presser feet. Happy Sewing!!!!!
So glad I came across your video. I am interested in this machine and buying it this coming week. I am a beginner so this helps and now I am looking forward to starting my projects.
Thanks so much for this video! I'm looking for a new machine, having been out of the sewing game for 17 years. I checked this one out at a few stores, it seems to have a good number of features for a great price. I would say I'm beginner level, because I wasn't that good of a seamstress back in 1997 either, lol
Thank you so much for your tutorial.Just like you my husband buy me a sewing machine about a week and my son help him to surprise me.This is my first sewing machine so thank you wants again for the trip about the bobbin and machine.
haley minecraft lover Awe wow thanks beautiful! If it weren't for all of you I wouldn't have a channel. Small secret... I am still getting used to the whole RUclips thing lol lol I'm just a regular person who just happens to make videos nothing special. I really appreciate each and everyone of you so thank you for such a sweet comment you have no idea how much I cherish it! Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am new to this and you made something I was afraid to tackle so easy. Look foreword to more videos as I get a little better.
Thank you for posting this! It was super helpful! I was debating on buying this at Walmart on Black Friday or not and after your review I'll be fighting the crowds ;) I just wanted to know after two years of owning this machine, do you still love it?! Also, this will be my first sewing machine, do you think it is good for a beginner? Thanks!!
Hey beautiful! I do not still have it I returned it to get the brother SQ9050. I would highly recommend it to beginners so long as your patient and know some of the terms I caught on really quickly to that machine the book it came with was super helpful!! I only returned it because the machine I have now has more features I wanted and it's been holding up perfectly.
Hi dear! Off of memory I’m not sure this model had one. It’s been years since I’ve filmed this and I don’t have the machine anymore I upgraded to a different one. So sorry hun. From the thumbnail, it doesn’t look like this one has a speed control button. 💐
Hi, Thanks for the tutorial. I thought even the lower end computerised machines have a back light on the LCD screen? How do you manage to see which stitches you've chosen? I couldn't see a thing!!
+Chris Butler Hello 😊At the time I would just work in a well lit area. But I no longer have that machine this was a couple years ago and my first machine,I exchanged it for another Brother and that machine does have a back light. Not all machines have them.
+jennifer wright Hello hun. Nope it works straight out the box. I don't think you asked anything wrong it makes sense to wonder about a laptop/computer connection. All of the functions are within the machine itself. Hope this helps.Tfw💜
Just take your time and watch as many vids as you can and read your manual. That’s what helped me. I don’t think it will take you too long to get the hang of it but just try to have fun with it. I’m sure anything you make will be beautiful. We all have to start somewhere right? Big hugs and thanks for watching!
Can some one please tell me the difference between the cs8800prw & the ce1100prw. They're pretty much the same exact machine except one has 100stitches and the other has 80stitches but the one with more stitches cost less, & I'm trying to figure out why??
+Key Shanece Most likely it's exactly what you stated the stitch count. All you would need to do is read the description of each machine and the features and that will tell you the difference between the machines.
Thx for helping me, but I have a question, how do I use the pattern? On the machine I pressed the arrow button thingy to show "03", (the pattern I want) but it's not working, it keep going in a straight line, rather than the pattern! Can you help me?
Your welcome hun. I believe on that machine you simply just need to type in the number and the machine is supposed to self adjust. (Like you did) I would maybe turn the machine off to restart it so to speak ( if you haven't already done so) and try it again. Anytime my machine ( I have a different brother now) acts a little funny I just power of and on. Hope that helps! 💜
Very nice machine. It’s funny I’ve never heard the sewing machine feet called walking foot before. My two aunts were seamstress and growing up we called them sewing machine feet (◕‿~). I have a Euro Pro. Thanks for the review.
Thank you so much hun. have you ever used it for denim? I'm looking for a sewing machine I can grow with that is good for beginners. there is a singer I have seen another RUclips page recommend n she showed it sewing through different materials only thing is, is that its mechanical
Please please please help... how to you adjust the pressure foot? The pressure foot is so tight that I cannot even slide my fabric. I am going crazy. Currently taking the whole machine apart. I want to cry!
Hello 💐. Unfortunately I don’t know what may be going on with your machine, there could be a lot of different variables as to why it’s locking up. I would definitely recommend starting in the manual of your machine and look thru the trouble shooting section. I personally haven’t had this issue in any of my machines over the years so I wouldn’t know where to begin as far as pin pointing the issue. But any time I run into an issue I always go to manual and the website of the manufacturer.
Hello hun. I would just purchase a universal sewing machine cover. I Haven’t had this machine in years but they do sell covers for sewing machines online and at local retailers. I would check Amazon as well. Hope that helps.
+Rita Olivera Hello hun. No I would check the manual or google that error to see what pops up. I don't have this model anymore so I wouldn't be much help on that one. Hope you find the answer!
+donna doyle Hello beautiful. When I had the machine I never experienced that problem neither on my machine I have now. I sometimes turn my machine off and back on to reset if I have minor issues with it.
Is this something someone would buy without the tools? I'm a small time salvager and just picked one up, it appears to work fine, but has none of the items from the bag. I know nothing about sewing, just gearing up to sell it on eBay.
Hello, could you please what number you have your machine for a straight stitch my tension is giving me problems, I put my tension at a four and my stitch length at a 3.0. thanks
+Juls I do not have this particular machine anymore but my straight stitch is always whatever number the machine automatically sets it too when you use the straight stitch option and my tension is at 4 as well. 💜
+luis rios Yes you would need the correct needle for it and to go slowly. Also not thick layers. I've hemmed my husbands jeans fine with it. Hope that helps! Tfw
+Bee A Russell Hello, I had not tried or used it for that. However I believe you can if you know how too but it does not have monogramming build into it. I actually returned this one for the Brother SQ9050 Which has it built in to do so it is very small monogramming but it works for what I need it for.
Wish I could’ve hung in there for the important parts of the review, but far too much time was spent talking at length about trivia like buying bobbins and when you might use the carrying handle. Please try to use more economy of words!!
This video wasn't filmed years ago for professionals like yourself who know everything about every machine. It was for those who actually needed a review on the machine and how to use it. I was a beginner myself and couldn't find a single video with the information. I invite you to do as you please on your own channel and post videos for the professionals, but on mine I'll continue to post as I like and see fit in my own style.
Thank you so much! When I pulled this used machine out of a storage box, I knew I was going to need help. I'm so glad to have this info.
Glad I could help! 💐

charslyn brown Thanks for watching beautiful!!
This review was soooo helpful, thank you so much! One question though, is there a button on here that controls the speed? I don't see one :(

Yes the term "walking foot" is what they can be called.
AWESOME VIDEO!!!! Thank you so much for the informative & instructional video! God Bless ya woman!!!
Thank you so much gorgeous! Big hugs💜💜

I love your review. I was just wondering if you had ever hemmed jeans with this machine.
Thanks hun yes I used a heavy duty needle used for jeans when I hemmed my husbands with it when I had the machine. Happy New Year💜
Thank you so much hun. have you ever used it for denim? I'm looking for a sewing machine I can grow with that is good for beginners. there is a singer I have seen another RUclips page recommend n she showed it
sewing through different materials only thing is, is that its mechanical
When I had it I did hem some denim jeans and as long as you have the proper needles and take your time it's fine.
+DivaDollFlawless thank you so much. You are so sweet and respond quickly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your very welcome hun!💜💜
you just save my ass about 3 hours!! Thank you, girl!! Can't wait to watch your next vids!!
C.Marie O'Halloran Lol your most welcome gorgeous!

Does it come with a pedal?
JaiCray Hello! Yes it does.
Hi where do i get the bag that comes with it i lost mine.
Hello hun. I would just purchase a universal sewing machine cover. I Haven’t had this machine in years but they do sell covers for sewing machines online and at local retailers. I would check Amazon as well. Hope that helps.
do you know what error 6 means I was in the middle of a project and it said E6. And it made this weird noise and rattled have you had this problem?
+Rita Olivera Hello hun. No I would check the manual or google that error to see what pops up. I don't have this model anymore so I wouldn't be much help on that one. Hope you find the answer!
This video was very informative! Thanks!
Is this a good beginners machine
Hey love I was a beginner when I got it so I would say yes but it's all personal preference and comfort level. Tfw beautiful!!
u are awesome verygood day to u and your family very well explain

+donna doyle Hello beautiful. When I had the machine I never experienced that problem neither on my machine I have now. I sometimes turn my machine off and back on to reset if I have minor issues with it.
Awesome video!! Thanks!
+Elizabeth Anderson Thanks for watching hun!!
Do we need to connect the sewing machine to the computer to access the patterns cause its 'computerize'?
Hey beautiful no you do not. Everything works directly from the machine. Tfw💜
Thank you !! So very helpful!
Your welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting beautiful! : )

I would say possibly so. Especially as either a back up machine or something of the sort. I would say post it! Happy selling. Tfw💚
Oh just make sure to put in your listing that it’s just the machine not any accessories.
@@divadollflawless Wow, thanks for such a fast reply. Happy Thursday :)
Can this be use for heavy industrial usage
I would say no. It’s not a metal machine. You can absolutely do a lot on it but the industrial part makes me say no.
thank you for the info
Would this machine work for heming denim?
+luis rios Yes you would need the correct needle for it and to go slowly. Also not thick layers. I've hemmed my husbands jeans fine with it. Hope that helps! Tfw
Woewwww thanks so much!!!!!
ioana meleghius Your most welcome beautiful!
can you monogram with this?
+Bee A Russell Hello, I had not tried or used it for that. However I believe you can if you know how too but it does not have monogramming build into it. I actually returned this one for the Brother SQ9050 Which has it built in to do so it is very small monogramming but it works for what I need it for.

Your welcome thanks for watching beautiful : )
Also! My machine is not feeding automatically. 😒
Sounds like something is blocking your feed dogs but that’s just a guess.
