This was my dad's first car in 1989 and he still have it, but in not so great condition it doesn't run anymore and it's been in the backyard of my house for the last 7 years. Hopefully I'll restore it for him in the future. Yours is impecable
@@philipgrose Did it need a viscous coupler? Did you rebuild the old one? Where did you get the parts? It seems that there isn't anything available out there. Ours is in good shape but it is leaking. Thanks for any advise you can give.
@@ModelTTime no it did not need a viscous coupler nor did we have to rebuild it. If you need a good parts supplier, go through BJs Offroad and talk to Ryan. He's has exceptional customer service. Another supplier is Team Grand Wagoneer, but only buy items that BJs Offroad doesn't have.
Was the gold paint available for these in 89' ? Or anytime before , I do not recall the color . The dash looks stunning in the video. Better than the fabrics which isn't often the case. It's hard to keep that dash/console centre stack looking "new" the sunlight beats up on them they are so big and exposed I would have a custom carpet/Mat to cover much of the sun ray direct hit area
Yes the gold was available in 1989 and prior years. Yeah the dash is hard to maintain. They are known to crack, and you would think there would be a company that could make a dash. We usually dye these to restore back to original if they are in good condition. If you are looking to restore your Wagoneer, we can do it it OEM or custom. Be glad to help.

Hey Shirley. Sounds good! Contact me when you are ready to do the body.
