The XX is easily one of the greatest motorcycles of all time, I have a red '97 model and I love it to bits. Sure, there are many bikes that are faster, but to me the 'Bird is the complete package 😎

GPS is more correct. about +-1km/h error. By european law it's not allowed that the speedo shows less than you actually drive. that's why the manufactueres let it show more. and at those high speeds you also have a lot of slip at the rear wheel.

Le compteur triche entre 20 et 25 km /h dommage qu'il ne soit pas plus précis , 280 km/h c'est pas mal ,mais normalement cette moto doit accrocher les 300 et se n'est pas le cas !
Il est normal que le compteur de vitesse fasse quelque chose. La loi européenne ne permet pas au compteur de vitesse de prendre du retard, les constructeurs le font donc apparaître un peu plus. De plus, à grande vitesse, il y a encore beaucoup de patinage sur la roue arrière, ce qui augmente alors à nouveau la vitesse affichée. Les vrais 300 km/h ne sont pas possibles avec cette moto de 152 ch.

Although my ZZR is tuned and not restricted at all full race twin can system, dynatek coils, racing plugs, Taylor leads, some carb work, lightened by 8kgs altered gearing, YSS progressive fork springs and YSS remote adjuster rear shock, she's a quick bike but will be faster once I get the stage two cams fitted, i ran out of road at 193mph, hoping she will do what's on the clocks when I'm done with it, 200mph! Not bad for a 27yr old bike.. 😂 😂

I had an 01. I had it to 163 mph before I said that’s enough. What an amazing bike and such a smooth platform. Handled like a dream at any speed.

@@mototop_ It's fuel injected ( first year ) , has 164 hp and speedo to 320 ( 195 mph). So best of everything..

Doing 250km/h gps
Use an FJR 1300 not an Honda 1100xx, the FJR is more relax 😌
If you wanna go faster get a busa or kawa 1400
but the best I had with my XX per GPS was 286. And that's faster than FJR ;)
If you fall you will slide for a looong time 😄
