The free mods are great but getting rid of that whine is priceless!! It is the one thing that drives me batty about these is that never ending whine at slow speeds. Ginormous improvement!!

Hey Fonzie, fantastic upgrade to the WPL C74, taking away that whine from the ESC is so, so much better. I’ll have to check my C24…I used the WPL upgrades ESC that can cope with 3s packs (as it was the only one in stock), to see if that whine is evident, if so, might do the same upgrade to the 1060 ESC. Great tip and great running in your ultra tidy course 😊😊best wishes my good friend. 😊

Yes the res3 can take a 3s but it's got no endpoints and that is really a must in the steering also the modulation is not really comparable with a HW1060 I have one of them also .
I can definitely recommend the 1060 they are available on AliExpress for a great price .

Absolutely a few simple things makes a big difference
I´d say that´s 2 free upgrades, the hardware still costs a bit. But great thanks for the idea with the softer tires and driveshaft-position. ^^

HI Fonzie, the intro with you putting the radio gear in the FIRE PIT awesome🤣🤣🤣but the mods you did on it was perfect, noticed that there was a whine on the before shot and very little to none on the after. I handled the course like a champ, so what other upgrades do you have in mind for this one? Wonderful video, take care my friend.💯💯💯

Big difference with just a couple of simple mods, very nice! 👍 I can’t stand the motor hum with stock electronics.
Lol I know it's a bit of a let down but it's cheap so we really complain allot about it 😁 .

Excellent work and a very nice and simple tutorial. Did you also manage to stop the sagging in the rear leaf springs? Are you still using the stock battery in the rear tray?

No I'm using a 3s but still in the rear in the same place I just extended the wire also 😁
Great job with the mods love the axle flip,are you still using stock length driveshafts or are these using the 34mm inner piece?

Pois è joaõ eu tambem vou mudare mais coisa eixos de metal e mais outras coisas .

Eixos de metal tambem melhora principalmente a frente onde vai melhore o circlo the diressaõ obviamente em metal te vai tambem ajudare com o pêso em baixo tambem os amortecedores funciona melhore que fexo de molas tambem .
Embora a caixa tenha gears de plastico ainda naõ e taõ Mau quando avariare mete uma tipo o c34 em metale

Great video! Can I ask a question? Everything I have seen about the Hobbywing 1060 says you need a receiver as the one in the vehicle is an esc/receiver combo. Did you also install a receiver? Thanks
Of course you can ask questions ! Yes if you want to run the 1060 you need to upgrade the receiver also but it will improve it like 10 times it's night and day!! The stock transmitter and receiver are a bit rubbish really
@@Fonzierc so what did you do then regarding the battery? Any of the NIMH battery packs have much smaller wiring than the gauge that comes out of the ESC. So I get I would have to change the connecters to make sure they fit, but any batteries I've seen that are Lipo, would not fit in the battery compartment it appears? Am I wrong? What battery are you running? If you don't mind me asking? Thank you so much.
@@DC-RC18 hi I'm running a 2s or a 3s battery the wiring has been changed for better quality than stock and I'm using jst plugs there is lot's of batteries available that will fit in there I'm using overlamder 850 mah packs

I really hope you don’t mind me asking again. As you did in your video, I have just changed the driveshafts’ and axles’ positions. But now when I hit the gas, the car drives reverse and when I push reverse the car goes straight forward. Would you mind helping me out in this case? Kind regards from Germany again, Christoph.
You need to reverse the throttle ch2 .
