I got mine yesterday guys. The feeling of the card is amazing (heavy and metal). Spent $1100 today lol. I can already tell this is gonna be one of my favorite cards
My favorite card, originally got venture in 2019 before upgrading when this card came out. My gameplan is book hotels through the portal for 10X points and use my points for flight since flights get half the amount of points a hotel does
The benefits of this card are amazing. Customer service is incredible! Just got it and it’s already paid for itself. My only regret is not getting it sooner.
Everyone is pushing this card hard. I fell for it and got the card. We have excellent credit and pay all cards in full at the end of month. In any case, booked my first travel through Capital One Travel. The booking went smoothly. What didn't go smoothly is my return flight from Turkey to US. They messed up my reservation apparently but refused to take blame. I had to sit on the call with them for over 8 hours and with 7 reps because their phones kept getting disconnected. Finally I got a refund on the return half of the flight that came nowhere near covering what I had to pay to get back home. We're paying off the final balance and closing the account. Trust me, their customer service is set up to avoid taking any loses. They will pass the bill onto you for any mistakes that they make.
But because you don’t get the 10k mile reward until the start of the next year, this card is actually $95 for the first year, then essentially “free” after that. (Assuming you use the $300 travel credit every year)
The problem with this card is that you have to book through approved channels to get value. If you're someone that wants to avoid the headache that is OTAs, this card is much harder to justify. US Bank Altitude Reserve would probably be more "underrated" option
Been using Chase sapphire Pref and Also Citi premier lately. Would you recommend this option vs the other cards? Can the miles be redemmed for cash back or statement credit?
Help!! I’m currently debating on what card to get next, my main focus for my next card is to have lounge access. I travel domestic 99% of the time so I need travel partners that have access to domestic airlines. I currently have discover it, Apple Card, freedom flex and sapphire preferred. Currently debating on getting the venture x BUT if you have any other recommendations let me know!!
Can I successfully book my flight on the airlines' website using the Capitol One Venture X credit card and claim the '$300 annual travel credit' using the 'Cover Travel Purchases' option?
I love my VX and I tried to cancel Amex plat bc of the ease of use of VX. Amex told me that they would retract my welcome offer if I cancel before my year is up. Kind of irritated at that lol as I don't want to have to owe Amex 100,000 points. Any suggestions?
Bro, every credit card user knows not to cancel the card. Any credit issuer will retract the welcome bonus if you cancel before the year. Not just Amex
@@qwertz247 great point, I might as well utilize what I have for the time being. Hopefully my travel will pick up so I can utilize more of the benefits for work .
For the venture x $300 credit (coupon now), do I have to book the flight before my card anniversary OR travel before my annviersary? In other words, can I book a flight but not travel until 2025 or do I have to book and travel by September 2024 assuming I apply today? Idk if this makes sense 😅
Is there a potential problem with price matching on the portal if you have hotel status with that chain and then they won't honor it? I've heard that can be a problem when buying through portals.
Quick straw poll here, but do you think the benefits of the VX card are better than the Amex Platinum? The Amex Platinum card seems to have a lot of little extras that make the appeal strong. The Uber credit, the Walmart+ credit, the Saks credit, plus the hotel perks and what not. Just curious for other opinions.
*Nice video bro!*

Great video. Can you do a video on how to use the capital one rewards. Like, step by step so we can get the most of the card. Thanks in advance
Love mine!
My daily card for all purchases, except food. I use an AMEX Gold for food purchases.
Same combo I use. Plus Bilt for rent.
Thanks for mentioning that. I have AMEX Gold & was considering VX as my travel / daily card.
Same
Gold and VX are an incredible combo

Just got approved for this! I can’t wait to use it
If I had $395 yearly to pay and if I were a frequent flyer, then I would get to VX, so happy to have the Venture for now and can’t wait to upgrade
Great video jungy...I would love to see a walk through for the lounges or the cafes. I have a cafe a few miles from my house.
I UPGRADED TO VENTURE X FROM THE VENTURE CARD.
Great video man, lots of information and knowledge. Thank you
You're welcome bro!
It's amazing how many of the utube sites push the same thing at the same time.
How long should you wait to apply for another credit card? Thanks
Thanks, Brian!
i've been waiting for you to make this video!! instant click. thank youuu! 😊
I should probably be looking at this card; but I’m also looking at WoH and juicing those points with the WoH/CSP/Bilt
Man awesome video brotha. Thank you for the amazing content
Appreciate it!
I would love to hear your thoughts on the difference between the Robert Kiyosaki and Dave Ramsey school of thought.

Do you get the $300 right when you open the account?
You have the sign up bonus the first year tho
Sign up bonus and tsa pre check credit for first year
but u dont ger any pts spending the $300
@@E4edison they use it as a discount at checkout now instead of a statement credit.
I have this card and love it. ❤️

Just got approved for this yesterday 🙏🏻
And I got denied for it yesterday hahhaha
what wallet are you using at 9:20?
what the credit score recommend to apply
If you don’t want the high fee I feel like going with the $95 vershion is very good as well
Been using Chase sapphire Pref and Also Citi premier lately. Would you recommend this option vs the other cards? Can the miles be redemmed for cash back or statement credit?
Reserve >= Venture X >> Preferred

Good review, but I would not say this card is underrated at all..... that title goes to the Barclays Wyndham Earner Business Card
Can I successfully book my flight on the airlines' website using the Capitol One Venture X credit card and claim the '$300 annual travel credit' using the 'Cover Travel Purchases' option?
Whats in your wallet video! Need the 2023 update bro!!! Much love ❤
This card basically pays you to have it!
9:21 which wallet is that?

I mean you already paid for the year so why not keep it for the full year? Wait until your next annual fee hits then cancel

you get blacklisted, for any card issuer, if you cancel before the 2nd annual fee posts. just wait, then you can safely cancel.
Downgrade instead of cancel (?)
Best utility so far in whole crypto space
Do the 10k miles roll over to the next year?
as long as u keep card, u keep miles
Best card for using airport lounges in Canada

As long as the purchase was made before the anniversary you should be good.
I have a capital one Walmart card. Can I convert the points to venture x?
For someone flying out of lax as myself, plat is still better than the vx
Why is that?
Is there a potential problem with price matching on the portal if you have hotel status with that chain and then they won't honor it? I've heard that can be a problem when buying through portals.
The most "Overrated" card imo... but it has the popular vote😎
anyone who was recently approved mind sharing your data points at time of applying?
Not really true.. The capital one portal SUCKS, try and use it.. They don't have much choice and is more expensive..
Nah my problem using this travel portal booking a hotel is they don’t have the breakfast offer lol.
What is that wallet at 9:22 ?

I have both and the VX I use daily, it also has a hotel program now as well. The platinum I only use when booking flights or using it for the credits.
The fact the "platinum" card has a wal-mart credit...
no. amex wins. vx only wins if ur not interested in any types of perks beside easy to use travel credit and low af
Yup
So, if you don't travel this isn't that useful then.
🔥🔥🔥
*why all this headache*?
But there are cards which are free no high fees like venture
Most underrated really?! 😂😂😂
No music on the background please .. it’s distracting
Then do your own research then 😭
💙
good ❤❤❤
