she's still not something I'd be searching for in a character, I have a team of jinshi, jiyan and baishi and looking at those characters I don't think I'll be changing that team soon enough

You could use Baizhi and Jianxin on the lower floors, and save Verina for the harder stages. (And even if you don't have Jianxin, Verina and Baizhi should be enough to carry you through the harder stages, at least.) Regardless... I highly recommend you DO NOT skip Zhezhi. If you main Jinhsi, then Zhezhi is as close as it gets to a must pull, since she is the only sub-DPS in the game who provides both coordinated attacks and a skill damage deepen. I think it's safe to estimate she can improve the performance of a Jinhsi team by around 30% when compared to her next best option. Also looks like a solid sub-DPS if you decide to play a Changli hypercarry team. As for Changli herself... Her animations are amazing and she looks very fun to play, but from a meta perspective, it doesn't look like she will be as OP as Jinhsi + Zhezhi. And similar to Calcharo, it looks like she has a high skill floor/ceiling when compared to other characters. (I won't tell to to skip Changli if you like her, but... If you care about meta, or if you enjoy playing Jinhsi, I highly recommend you save enough resources to pull for Zhezhi as well.)

Most likely, it will be a 38% DMG deepen for 14s, same as the other sub-DPS) Anyway, she looks like she is a perfect match for Jinhsi. Should be a good option for Changli Hypercarry comps as well.
