Can loose bolts cause oil to leak around the valve cover gasket? I have a 2017 Honda sport and it already needs to be replaced. My car has 91,884 miles on it. Is this normal to replace it so soon?
Thanks for this Philip! I have one of these (direct injection) engines on my 2016 CRV, do you know how I can tell if the intake valves have carbon buildup? Ideally I don't want to have to take off the intake manifold to see, is there an easier way?

I see some oil leaking into the cat, I’m going to replace the valve gasket cover, but wanted to ask if that oil leakage is a cause of the check engine light coming on? And if so do I also have to change my cat?
Hey Phil great video mate. I have just started the replacement and i found that one of the small nuts is missing from one of the four round seals that the T20 torc is required for. I cant get another one for almost two weeks and I was wondering if its possible to reuse one of the old seals until the new one arrives or is that not a good idea ?
Does this set work that you brought on Amazon as indicated above for a 2015 Honda Accord LX sedan model with a 2.4L engine? Amazon website shows that this set does not. Please explain. Thanks

Thanks a lot for this info. I was so confused because some videos shows that those are covered and can’t be replaced.
It seems to be VIN specific across different years of this gen. My 2017 Sport has the non replaceable gaskets.

These gaskets are super prone to leaking. I can tell you how many I've seen between the civics, Accord, and CRV with the earth dreams engine
I bought mine preowned at 37k and it was already leaking....smh

3/8 impact

DO A VIDEO FOR OIL PAN REPLACEMENT ON THE 2014 HONDA ACCORD SPORT

How is oil leaking into it? If you mean on it, no that won't hurt it.
Do you recommend discounting just the negative side of the battery? Or both positive and negative
Just negative is sufficient

Spark plug tube seals?
