Thanks for the feedback! Yep amazing drone work from my friend @foilfilms , we are working to get closer angles but there are obviously risks with losing the drone in the ocean. I just paddle into waves like a normal wave and get onto foil then pump out the back. You can see a takeoff in this video ruclips.net/video/ZTKiQ8OUAJE/видео.html
Great ride. U know, it would be great to c a vid of u looping that rocky spit in the distance (Julian Rocks) and then back to Byron in one flawless ride 😁. Can it be done, just pumping, when weather gods cooperate ?
Hahah thanks mate. I have thought about this and a downwinder out around it and coming in at Brunswick heads but on a prone board would be too crazy. I am picking up a downwind board this week which would bring it within my risk appetite 😄. There is another rocky outcrop much closer at wategos bommie but when you get close to it the water is so deep around it and gets very turbulent so imagine Julian rocks is more extreme again
Keep the sessions coming. Great inspiration for all the Foilers (present and future)!
Thanks for the feedback. Hoping to make many videos this year. Stoked to hear you enjoyed it 🤙🏽
Your pumping effort is primo
Thanks big tony ! You ever hit the non wind powered foil?
@@camjrdn6318 nah... I primarily wing now. I do not have your young legs, but I will give prone a go at some stage.
