The song that Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore wrote is called "Jaya Hey". It's first stanza (only) was adopted as the National Anthem of India and was called "Jana Gana Mana" which is the National Anthem is thus called as.

I just love the complete song/poem Jana Gana Mana with all the stanzas... The first stanza is of course the one adopted as the the National Anthem but I guess the whole song is what that shows the full meaning of being an Indian with full significance.

हमारे संपूर्ण राष्ट्र गीत को ध्यान से सुनने पर आपका बहुत बहुत शुक्रिया. इस राष्ट्र गीत के पांचो स्टेंज़ा बहुत पहले मैंने किसी सिनेमा हाल में सुना था. उस समय न तो रंगीन फिल्म थी,न टी.व्ही था,न मोबाईल. उस दौर में फिल्म शुरू होने के पहिले सरकार की ओर से भारतीय समाचार चित्र या भारतीय सूचना चित्र दर्शाया जाता था. वैसे हमारा दूसरा राष्ट्रीय गीत वंदे मातरम् भी बहुत लंबा है, परन्तु उसके भी एक स्टैंज़ा को मान्यता मिली. नमस्ते/ आदाब 👌🙏🇮🇳🌷
