This was a fun video to make and absolutely had a blast filming & editing it. The athlete is my sister-in-law's boyfriend - DJ, and a big thank you to him and Adam Dozier for filming Behind the Scenes!
I shot this completely on my Canon 1DX mark ii and used the 50mm 1.2, and 35mm 1.4 lenses!

What variable nd filter did you use? And what do you think of the new idx mark iii!! I thought it was funny because title has nike in it and first shot is you wearing under armour lol
felipe olvera it seems like a good camera!! But sad they took away autofocus on 4K 60!
And yeah that was all part of the plan 😜 good catch!
Justin Romeyn theres still af in 4k 60 just not in full frame mode! Theres also autofcous in 5.5k mode just not 50/60p

Loved your video, I have a question about post. I loved how you start with the CU of the nike logo on the shirt and when you pull back it speeds up and then goes back to regular speed. How did you do that? Did you do it with a speed ramp? It is just so smooth. If you have any tips or direction on how you accomplished that in post I would appreciate that. Thanks.

@@JustinRomeyn btw, in 2 days I have a radio event where listeners are invited to an auditory to listen the program and then we all are going to skii and spend the day in the mountain. I've been told to take pictures and make a video of the journey. Any reccomendations? (lenses, aperture, fps, 4k vs 1080...) cheets mate, keep going! :)
Omar Serrhini Reneses I would say only shoot 4K when it’s something worth it (beautiful views/shot), and bring a few lenses with different focal ranges (ideally 1 or 2 with really low f stops - definitely will need ND’s)

Nope! Have the 16-35 2.8 now! And also completely switched over to Canon
