Gautier Serre, the main composer, claims to have synesthesia, an ability to perceive music as colors.

Synesthesia can have many forms. In an interview Gautier Serre sais, that he hears pictures, so that would be the other way round. But what you mentioned might be the most common form of synesthesia.
When I can completly shut down and kind of meditate on music, depending on the music it sometimes (but rather rarely) turns into shapes, sometimes landscapes or geometric forms. But it has to be good music, which gives room for such an experiance. Tool is a great example, but even better is electronic music, even though I prefer Metal.

You can see Laure the girl vocalist that does a pretty awesome song, a more classical electronic with metal features, but no growling (Igorrr mixes many genres in his songs)
But there's this band with Gautier de DJ composer of Igorrr, and Laure,the singer of Igorrr too, and other members in a prog rock band, more or less
So please try Corpo-Mente - Ort for a more melodic and "simpler" creative style

This is polystylism music - it shares it's roots with Alfred Schnittke and goes back about 40-50 years.

This was an excerpt written about Schnittke's Concerto Grosso 1 (Which i highly recommend checking out to see where Igorrr roots are from). If that doesn't speak to Igorrr's music I don't know what does. I'm actually really surprised no one has made this connection yet between these two greats.
