Plz don't see this video anymore because I played this when I was a rookie.You can see this more funny video, I used the half lv cloud fight with my classmate, and he used lv100 cloud.

I still come back to this video, even after I've seen it roughly 10 years ago, still one of the best fight gameplay I've ever seen :)
I used to play this all the time, but I stopped when I sold my PSP. Now that I'm watching this, I have no idea what the hell is going on.
I personally need to say that it's been quite a long time since I've first watched this video and it gets on my feelings of nostalgia everytime.

the name of the song is Advent: One Winged Angel and has been used since Final Fantasy VII
I always love how if you finish someone off with that move cloud will reach up for his sword but he juuuuust can't quite make it before they fade out.
@LAnite430 Damage is based on how much Bravery you gain before dealing an HP attack. There's 2 types of attacks, Brave Attacks and HP Attacks. Brave attacks raise your bravery, and HP attacks deal damage equal to your current Bravery.

@xJ3abyMint The armor & weapon aren't shown when they're equipped, they just change stat, that's an alternate look from pp catalog.
@KrzyUnit You have two different attacks that determine the damage you will deal. First is the bravery system that decides how much damage you will deal to your opponent. Bravery is the big numbers above the character's HP bar. Then there are HP attacks that reset your bravery to your default and the damage is based on your current bravery (1 means 1 damage, 100 means 100 damage). The bravery damage is determined by your attack power vs the opponent's defense.
@Arrancar012 I just looked it up. You're right. Romi Park IS toshiros voice actor but he gave his voice to Zidane Tribal in Dissidia, not Cloud. I totally recognize Izuru now.

No, it's the same for any console internet set up, all you do is go to the network option (The PSP Dashboard/Home is the same for PS3), Then it will ask you how you want to search for gateway, whihc is your router, select auto and it will find it, enter your wep key if you have that type of router, and it will do the rest itself. PSP is actually quite an amazing handheld, its really just a mini console, it has alot of features that will suprise you, Movies, downloadable books, etc..

@badgame589 It's called "Black Materia" in US version. He didn't used the fully charged one.
dissidia has a recording feature that turns match recordings into movie files and puts them on your memory card, its fucking genius and I wish more games did it

Avoiding is mostly a matter of time. With some enemy techniques, you can see them charging up and gathering power. For example, with Exdeath's teleport move, when the circle is ALMOST in front of you, dodge to the side, and you'll be set up for a perfect counterattack. Blocking is harder, sice it's usually used in close combat with not much space to read attacks, but you can also use blocking to redirect magical attacks back at your opponenent. Hope this helped somewhat...

@dahtrollfaic Go into Cloud's customization menu and press 'triangle' to change the look from 'Normal' to 'Alternate'. You can see it change in the right section of the blue bar

A used copy would probably go for $9.99.

man all those pillars breaking, that just made it over-dramatic, and it showed how strong the fighters were. I think the cloud VS sephiroth will never stop being impressive
Cloud once saw Jecht smile, after four years of radiation therapy he became a Super SOLDIER with mental issues, you don't wanna see what happened to the guy who saw Jecht frown.
That is pretty much the exact way cloud defeated sephiroth in the movie , by using that last move he used and with the right clothes.
im not sure if you mean cloud from this video? he has a sword in advent children which splits into 9 (i think) but not during the game, only in advent children.. (the film)

a fitting way to end Sephiroth: Omnislash Ver.5 but why couldn't they make his limit break Ver.6 in this costume like his final limit break in advent children complete. And if you haven't seen it yet you gotta see the new Sephiroth vs. Cloud where he finishes him with Ver.6 it screams pure epic.

@DayBreakization It has nothing to do with whether he won or not. It's how he won that makes him a noob. Instead of using any actual skill while playing, he relied entirely on EX Bursts to wipe out Sephiroth's health in just a few hits, since he couldn't go for even thirty seconds without his opponent putting him under Break.

what a close battle lol, something i don't understand though, how did he prevent the octoslash hp damage? all the bravery ones hit but the last hp didn't , i saw something on the top right corner and i don't know japanese :( i guess it was an accessory that prevented it?
its a build off you know that AP thing that stands for ability points you need to fill the guage for the move it will say you mastered it and will half the amount the slash thing costs and give you omni slash ver.5 (build off move is different for every character) oh and the moves that aree capable of being built off have a yellow dot in the name. glad to help

If ya w8 till after shad impulse, you can fight Chaos on lvl 1, since the reloads per round r faster, and you gain AP per round, you get far more AP, also buying the diamond set of armour increases AP even further (I get 36 AP per lvl 1 Chaos victory lol)

@Mskingdomheartsfan1 you buy the alternate outfit in the PP store then at the cusomisation screen press triangle to switch costumes

i made one of these, except cloud was in his original outfit, it was in the norther crater, and it was a bit shorter than this.
actually its reverse, the story of dissidia012 took place before the dissidia story, here in dissidia012 it will explain why only tidus,onion knight,firion,squall,warrior of light,cloud,terra,zidane,bartz and cecil were left alive. and here it explains why kain,tifa,yuna,laguna,vaan and lightning never came back in the next cycle of conflict, in 012 they didnt acquire the crystals. and also in 012 it explains how cloud,tidus and terra became warrior of cosmos.
did anyone else notice when cloud did omnislash level 5 he did a little pause after he finished talking....?

@soundificator Yeah. Hear it closely in the beggining and then put at Hitsugaya's japanese voice and you'll see they are equal.

@lordjuju96 You need to master the Bravery ability Slashing Blow. Omnislash Ver. 5 will be learned automatically as a branching attack.
to learn Omnislash ver.5 you need to master Sonic Buster,a abillity,like mastering other abillitys to half their cost to your limits

@crayonkiler you mean, I can play the exact version of the first one? as well as battle other people who own the first Dissidia? (I think you're implying that the first one is played in the new one with a couple extras)
yea same, but thats because the put ur damage down to o then when u break the damage amount in between the life bar goes to the attack of the person who forced the break.

@TheShadowfan9000 You do know that the knew one has the first dissidia installed in it right? So you would have 2 games in one (but you have to beat 012's story mode first.

You got beat around pretty badly, though I must admit your Cloud has high damage, what accessories and equipment do you have equipped on him?
Interesting. Cloud's Voice actor is the same of Toshiro Hitsugaya From Bleach.
Tip: Any level of AI will be fooled in a chase battle. All you have to do is to brave attack twice and lastly an HP attack. The AI, who will anticipate another brave attack, will hastily evade. Try it.
duodecim makes the original dissidia look like a stop-motion lol

@KrzyUnit bravery is how much damage your hp attacks do to your opponents....
bravery attacks take bravery from your opponents bravery.....
when you take all of your opponents bravery your get the stage bravery (the numbers in the middle bottom)

@xdxchuckles youre talking about advent children? in the original ff7 game cloud killed sephiroth using 'omnishash'..

@TheShadowfan9000 Yeah i did imply that you could play the first one with a bit more extras like more characters, a few more battlegrounds, music or unless you just really want the first dissidia for its features, as far as i know im not too sure if you can battle people who own the first dissidia because psn is down and i can't use adhoc

How does the bravery system work? How does it increase? And can it decrease besides from getting reset by using the HP attacks?
What is it with final fantasy 7 and giant swords? I mean sephiroth must have a hard time traveling w/ that thing...

Good fight, but it seems ya got some weird skill set, I went for Omni air dash instead of the straight air dash, its brilliant for dodging cause its any direction and far faster than the normal 1 (Its easier to dodge out of attacks using Omni air dash than trying to aerial dodge it) Just use the free slide air dash instead for closing the distance 2 ur foe, also much faster. (omni air dash will also lock onto EX cores, grabbing them much faster than you managed)
